First meets, being safe, general chat

Joined the site last week and have my first meet tomorrow very excited! What's the best way to verify if the person you meet is genuine. Is it normal to want to ask for a phone call first etc? Also hitting my local swinging club for the first time. Is it full of pests as last thing I want to do is go if I'm going to be labelled. |

I can't comment on clubs because we only ever go in the day time.
As far as general safety goes we always meet in a neutral venue at first and socially only. This doesn't guarantee that your meet isn't a mad axe murderer but you can get a bit of an impression. If you feel that a phone call is important ask for that in fact I say take whatever precautions make you feel most comfortable.
Finally usually if it sounds too good to be true it probably is.  |

Thanks, I have had an offer and it does feel a bit too good to be true.
Yeah I thought I may as well just be extra cautious. As it if you're genuine you have nothing to hide... I'm so excited about the thought of everything! However equally nervous I'm going to put myself in an unsafe position.
I usually land on my feet in bad situations so if I ever do get in one hopefully it will continue.
Apart from my meet tomorrow I'm thinking about just going to the clubs socially to get a vibe of everything. |

Haven't asked for a call yet, they are not verified that's what's aroused suspicion. However I haven't been verified yet so it's unfair to judge right? |

Thank you, seems like most guys on here don't care and just want to f*ck however I'm very cautious. Rather be safe than sorry but don't want to be too cautious |

Just make sure you are both happy with the meet venue, I always try do meet at a public place, Starbucks for example. I know what you mean about being unverified, we have all been there and I have been fucked about when I first started. At least your photo verified, I use that as a must for anyone I'm going to meet. Hope it works out and let us know  |
