what counts as a time waster? would you consider a time waster as somebody who (early on during initial talking) isn't able to make a meet (like, hi. sorry, but can't make that time), or somebody who waits at the last moment before either cancelling, or just plain never turning up?
just out of curiosity - seeing so many profile posts complaining about time wasters and it feels hard to believe there can be so many |

"Someone who doesn't show although it would depend on the reason for the no show. Not alk cancelled meets are timer wasters in my book. "
As long as they let you know? |

If possible yeah but even of they don't it would depend where I'd arranged to meet them and again what the reason was. I have arranged meets at clubs and the person hasn't shown but I wasn't that bothered because I could play with others there. |

Some people have geniune reasons for not turning up to a meet ...we all have a life away from here, children can become ill .
Usual excuses like car broke down had to go to work ect i would class as timewasters |

Yes everyone has genuine reasons for not turning up, nobody has a reason for not sending a quick 5 second message though, there is no reason for on one to just not turn up |

According to some, people who chat with you for a bit then don't want to meet you are time wasters
For me though, it's just the people who arrange meets but didn't actually have any intentions of turning up. Just leaving folk waiting on their own.

"For us a time waster is someone who arranges to meet and doesn't show up, " . Went to a meet and only the male turned up said his wife was to nervous and had not come with him. but we could play in my car. I'm straight as it says on my profile. Now that's a time waster. With an imaginary wife.

That's awful! " . Thanks. It was all a learning curve. He had photos of a female on his profile claiming it was his wife. Beginning to despair of ever getting a meet. Maybe I'm just to old. |
