I see a lot of status updates refering to what ive said in my title , Pls help me understand why the good guys (ok slightly more boring than the other guys but most those guys who ain't biring and grab Ur attention are fake) I think the "real" guys should get more of a look in , you may find that diamond in the rough .... |

I've met a few guys who definitely grabbed my attention. They weren't boring and were absolutely real.
I don't understand why it's an issue. Oh wait. That's probably because I'm not real either. |

I live by one simple rule on fab;
"if it seems too good to be true it probably is"
So I follow my gut instinct and it's never steered me wrong.
Think you'll find women just go for the guys they find attractive on some level that just may not be you OP |

Wasn't really refering to bad boys as such more the "im everythin your looking for in a man " kinda guy ... The ones that manipulate themselves to fool you ..

Just a case of what stands out more and peeks someone's attention.
I agree on the aspect I seen a lot of couples and women's status complaining of men/couple/women letting them down but can't always say it cause they was to good to be true cause the same way I could looks amazing to one woman in the same way I'm an ogre to the next.
Its just a case that regardless of looks the trolls or timewasters seem to stand out more and make the large impact.
But that being said those terms get thrown around so much you never know it someone is actually a timewasters or just labels cause that could keep to a meet for a legitimate reason.
All to do with perception and preference. |

I suspect many of the women on here know how it works and spot these sort of profiles a mile off, as many of us men spot the women's profiles that are just the same
I think the OP was referring to the frequency of threads about single men not meeting and being let down and wondering whether the people concerned are being fooled by profiles that are 'too good to be true' and turn out to be fake and postulating that maybe by casting their net they might have more success
That's not to say some of these 'too good to be true' profiles aren't real because I've met some of the female ones that would fit into that category and they definitely were real! |

I've met guys who could be considered too good to be true and never been let down...they've actually been bloody marvellous and exceeded expectations!

Some people let you down for various reasons. It's all about being patient and just messaging people whose profile you have a lot in common with. Read their profile first, and if you seem to be what someone is looking for then say hello and go from there. |

Most the guys I go for look too good to be true so I make sure I secure a social meet within hours or a day and exchange kik details and get them to send live pics.
Even met a dude before just because he said my profile was fake and was adamant that I was using fake pictures, I was like right I'll prove it meet me now by KFC drive through! He bought me a fully loaded box meal for my trouble! |

it doesn't work with everyone though. a lot of guys are blatant about pretending to be what i want just so they'll get a meet.

I'm going to assume the OP is talking about profiles with pics of big cocks and ripped abs. When someone messages me with those pics the first thing I do is reverse image the pics. If that gives no results I will chat to the man and see a face pic. If the conversation goes well I move onto conversation via my phone. I'm too naive, dewy-eyed and always look for the best in people and I believe in them far too quickly - then get let down!!!!! I'm relatively new to this world though, and my first experience on here was very upsetting as I genuinely really liked the person and he didn't turn out to be who I thought/hoped he was!!! ..Sadly, I'm sure I'll get more cynical as time goes by - lesson learned - I walk a much more cautious path now!!!  |

From my long time being on fab the reason is quite simply because women on FAB can afford to be picky on this site, with a ridiculously high ratio of men to women, why would they settle for less? granted some women do have "delusions of grandeur" because the reality is that many wouldn't give them a second look walking down the street, but the same goes for the guy.
You need to be able to bring something new to the table, I cant compete with the ripped adonis type on here, but whats the point in looking at something pretty when some their performances are shocking? fortunately i'm lucky when it comes to meets, as i know what I'm doing between the sheets, but i by no means take that for granted to think I am entitled to meet every woman I chat to. Each to their own as the saying goes! |
