There seems to be a higher percentage of swingers with hot tubs than the norm. Unfortunately we haven't got one but we're open to invitations.
So the question is, hands up who's got a hit tub? xx |

Moving house soon and considering getting one outside (maybe build a wooden shed-thingy)... been looking at a TV series about a company based in Blackpool who seem to be the largest in the UK .. fun...may swing by in a few weeks when we go to Infusion...
Anyway...mixed reports re running costs... you run them 24/7 dont you...£4K entry level plus £20+ per month????? |

We run ours 24/7 and £20 per month is probably about right, haven't really looked into it though. We've had two now and would not recommend getting a cheap one. |

We run ours 24/7 and £20 per month is probably about right, haven't really looked into it though. We've had two now and would not recommend getting a cheap one."

We have a hot tub, on the patio just outside our back door. It's permanently ready, 38C.
We use it almost every evening in the winter - but maybe only once a week or so in summer. It's definitely nicest in cool air.
Mostly we just use it to relax and wind down.
But sometimes we do sexy - I dress in stockings and lingerie or maybe a transparent bikini.

we have been trying to meet a couple with a hot tub, we did find a couple but sadly they where not for us.

Yeah we have a tub but unfortunately our 25 year old son lives at home still so it don't get used for swinging as often as it should  |

Hi All
We've done a lot of research on Hot Tubs and been to numerous dealers (most of them akin to S/H car sales people!)
We've opted to import one next year direct from the manufacturer in China (we've done a bit of importing in the past)
Looking to save around £3k for a top of the range model
If anyone is interested in sharing shipping costs were happy to share the details and split a container (4 hot tubs)

We have one. It's too hard to fuck in one but it's perfect for lots of boobies 
Highly recommended, Don't buy Chinese it will be a headache, buy American branded ones. Buy cheap & it will give you problems. |

Sound advice ours is American and touch wood no issues in the 6 years we've had it.
And also agree that shagging in the tub is overrated better to use it to chill and some foreplay and move to the bedroom for the play. |

We're testing the water so to speak by trying an inflatable one. If we like it then we will get a proper one next year. Agree it's not the easiest place to fuck but great to tease and flirt. |

We did a lot of research prior to buying ours and the common theme from all dealers we spoke to was don't buy Chineese as they don't have the same safety ratings as the American or Canadian hot tubs and aren't as well built. Ours is American and cost a shade over £5k with 0% finance and free delivery. We use it almost every day and don't regret it at all having previously had an inflatable one. X |

That is why we got ours second hand. Can get some bargains in Gumtree and Ebay! Can buy a spa flush online so you can make sure it's all 100% clean and ready to go too!

Had them for years and there is a great deal of hype surrounding them. "Buy American quality" is a particular favourite. Almost ALL hot tubs are made in China and component parts put together elsewhere. Whatever you buy, there is absolutely no need to to pay more than £5,000 - £6,000. Don't be blinkered by hype and investigate a little. Our current "Chinese" hot tub is now 5 years old and has only had standard consumables replaced in that time (ozonator and main circ pump). All of the components are replaceable and/or upgrade able so as long as the shell doesn't crack - we should be good for another ten years at least.

We had been thinking about a hot tub for over a year but can be expensive. Someone told us about b the inflatable ones and we can't belive how good they are.

We hired an inflatable for Christmas last year and it was great. Only downside is that it got cold very quickly. They don't have the power or technology to run both the heater and bubbles at the same time, it's one or the other.
It was a very useful test for us though, it made us realise that we really did want a proper tub which we bought in may |

We get about 45 minutes to an hour out of ours in the summer, and about 30 minutes in the winter.
To be honest - I've never wanted to spend more than about half an hour in a hot tub. |

We've had an American branded hot tub for 10 yrs. Electrical running costs about £20/month, chemicals about £4 to £5 on top of that. We use ours every day and keep it at 39C in the winter and 29C in the summer (nice to cool off before bed). In addition to the inflatable ones you can hire a "proper" spa for a weekend to try one out. |

I pay £100 for 3 full month's gym membership at the Hoole Hilton,its got a outdoor jacuzzi you can swim in , sauna,hamman room ,steam room & a aroma room and decent sized swimming pool plus full gym facilities...I've done it in the jacuzzi too but fuck paying £70 a month |

Had one in villas have rented on hols and Def great as an ice breaker and flirting agree not good for sex, would love one at home not sure what the landlord would make of it as only place for it would be conservatory or garage as overlooked by neighbours....but might look to move and get a more seclued place so can get one.. |

If you are tactile and sensual couple then a hot tub is a wonderful addition to any home. Cozy weekend morning coffees or evening wind downs with the ability to hold each other and shoot shit with no iPads, phones or TV's distract.
We are on our second hot tub and have had them for ten years. We really would not do without it now. |
