Simple. A pair of soft boot laces.
One around the base of the thumbs and the other around the "neck" of her big toes . . . anything more is unnecessary. ![](/icons/s/2/halo.gif) |

"It probably doesn't count but I have used whoppie slings and soft shackles from my hammock camping kit. The dyneema rope is wonderfully soft."
Amsteel whoopie slings are wonderfully soft, and easily adjustable.
I wonder if they are a bit too strong for their size? Most restraints could be wriggled free from, not amsteel.
Lots of trust, and no dodgy tickers ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |

"A fairly thick rope, using a larks head around the wrist or ankle, works well.
If pulled it tightens, great for role play, but, if the rope is stiff enough, it will open when the limb relaxes"
Please please please do not follow this advice. The wrists are very delicate parts of the body and contain some quite delicate bones, not to mention nerves and blood supply to the hands. These can be easily damaged with too much pressure.
Rope is awesome stuff, but please take just 5 minutes to search YouTube for 'Shibari wrist cuff' to see how to do it safely. In short you need to lock the rope off half hitch so that it CAN'T tighten when pulled upon.

Quiet a lot of my lines are 5mm so rated to hold static loads of upto 2200kg.
With careful positioning the soft shackles can be difficult to get out of but are escapable. They also have the advantage of not being self tightening.
In some situations an icelock (either commercial or homemade) can be incorporated as a time release or an intentionally week link included. You just have to give some thought to the risks and what level of backup plan is required, obviously those needed for a group play situation would be different to solo bondage sessions. |

When I say thick rope, I'm talking about THICK, at least 12mm dynamic. A short loop larks head would not close tight enough before the knot restricts further tightening.
A lady once handed me paracord to tie her with, much too small diameter.
As for a soft shackle, I may see if I can wriggle a hand out of one tonight. |

"Don't forget the medical shears. Just in case "
Hell . . in a panic simply go for the chain saw!
But that user is spot on, ALWAYS have an emergency kit handy that includes very strong shearing type scissors . . Murphy will do his utmost to spoil your fun with cramp. ![](/icons/s/rolleyes.gif) |

Making custom sized soft shackles is quiet easy and there are good instructions on the web. The hardest part is getting the stopper knot right and then tight enough. |
