I often think how much fun I could have if I was gay. Why you ask?
I'm confident, and I think typically men are more upfront and confident than a woman. On here and out in the real world. Imagine a very horny man asking another horny man 'sex?' Two minutes later they're in bed. A woman might have to contemplate all those variables. 'I need to not come across as easy' etc.
I do wonder if the same sex find it easier getting together for sex.

Your assumption is dependent on all gay men being attracted to every other gay man and sexually compatible. I'm sorry to say that as a bi man I am somewhat selective and have specific requirements regarding male partners and therefore actually finding someone compatible is actual quiet difficult. |

I never assumed everyone's attracted to each other. Sorry if that but was misunderstood.
I do assume men are typically more confident to come out and ask the person he's attracted to. I'd then assume if the person was attracted to him in return, he would just come out and say so, and then 'go for it'. |

Your presumptions seem correct from my perspective. Gay, single men seem to have a lot more sex than straight men.
I'm as I describe "fully bi" and regularly meet gay men (hot, gay men) and I find them far more sexually at ease and open than women. I've had more than my fair share of both sexes and find men easier to talk to, approach and more giving in bed. 
Another issue I've had is many 5/6/7 ladies, only seek 10/10 guys (not me at all) making it very hard to find matches. |

Quite amusing that when we all understand that opposites attract, when it comes to sex, its not as clean cut. And it can sometimes become more difficult and cumbersome trying to navigate people's natural behaviour around the subject.

OP - you're correct if the guys are not particularly choosy. If I wanted to, I could drive to the nearest cruising area and get blown in the next 15 mins but I prefer to choose my partners for sexual shenanigans in advance and after agreeing that we would be sexually compatible.

But the second post on here says he's free, but NOT easy. He's actualy very perticular with sexual partners. I think woman are genuinely to difficult when it comes to casual sex or NSA sex. |
