what's the biggest reason for deleted messages?

Forbus, negativity on profile is a big one for me (mrs), saying your bi in messages but straight on profile, no profile content, no pics, being rude or ignorant. Those are most common plus just not being interested. |

Don't think anything of it.. It happens to all of us.
In all honesty, sending mail is a waste of time.. Your email is no different from a ppi phone call on a Sunday evening...unwanted.
Just get yourself out there, get known and build a reputation..
If you build it, they will cum. |

People who clearly haven't even skimmed my profile, or have nothing on their own page, no pics, no description etc.
People who have obviously forgotten that they sent me the same crap message three days ago and received a polite "no thanks".
And often it's just a vibe ... I read a message and it triggers zero response in me. |

I tend to read messages,reply but knowing I will get replies after a while I bulk delete due to the fact I tend to lose mail, plus if you really want to stay in contact with certain people save one message that way unless it's not a new message you will get the full conversation.
But I always need to tidy up but always remain in contact  |

Not your mail personally, mail in general to the overwhelmed inboxes of the females of these sites.
Showing your personality in the forum or chat will get you much further than an unsolicited email. |

On a vaguely related topic, what I don't get is people who send a message then block me three minutes later before I've even read their message. At least I assume it's a block, "user no longer on site". |

I have a feeling when that happens, they have been booted off the site by admin. I suspect that they have messaged a fair few people in those few minutes, and one of the recipients has taken the time to report them for some various infraction. My theory, at least. |

Whilst we are on the subject (and I'm in a ranty mood) here is tip for free. If your message starts "I know you won't be interested/I know I'm not what you said you were looking for..", please save both of us some time and rethink hitting the send button.

My profile not being read, the one liners and "fancy a fuck" and such variations. If my profile has been read and it's referred to, has a good chatty start then I will reply. I'm at a point now where I just get regular messages from people rather than lots of new messages. |

No you wouldn't, if you read the menu and like it you would order from it, if not you bin it.
Same as on here, someone doesn't fancy what you have on offer.
But don't take it personally, someone might have kept you in their drawer looking to order for another time. |

This for me.
I'm guessing for ladies the main reasons are:
Shit message......crap profile (if they bother to look)....don't match age/criteria (you've not read profile).....woman already sorted (you were too late).......fake profile (you just messaged another guy)..... They have 367 messages and do a mass delete......BECAUSE THEY CAN.
So best advice you have been given here is...don't bother checking if read or deleted. Just be delighted if you do get a reply. |

We will delete if it does not have the correct title in subject line it's instant delete.
If we have opened it and then look at the profile description it could be deleted if not we look at photos if they are not clean shaven or smooth where it counts will be deleted without answer as they have failed to read our profile as to our wishes.
We did have a incident at Abfabs where a guy said I sent you 5 messages and you didn't reply to any guess what he had not even read profile just looked at photo's and he did not meet our profile wishes.

A badly worded message with bad grammar and spelling. Don't know what it is it that really turns me off.
And couples sending messages saying we are in so and so hotel. Sometimes I wonder whether if I send them the same message, they'd like it. The irony is completely lost on them. |

When we send messages/party invites etc and they get deleted
Without answer we Block the person too just incase we mail them again by mistake, also stops others asking if they can Bring them to a future party

i delete messages from people who obviously haven't read my profile... rude messages.. if they have nothing on the profile and sometimes just because i cant be bothered to read all so i bulk delete. |

Yep not interested is the reason anyone would delete a message! The reason their not interested you will never find out....
But id say concentrate on the positives.

Not read the whole thread other than your opening post so I'm sure this has been said many times before but I guess there's a few possibilities:
- they're inundated and do bulk deletes so yours get deleted along with loads of others
- they look at your profile and you're not their type
- your messages are not what they're looking for (do you read their profiles and check for compatability, are you happy you're selling yourself in a way they works for THEM?)
People have their own reasons for deleting, the often quoted reason is that people haven't read and matched to their profile.
Keep trying, keep positive and hopefully more meets will come. Good luck fella |

95% of guys who hit on Katie are "straight" and "married" totally agree with misrepresentation and I do point it out to guys that it's not fair on single women and Cpl's that they may meet if they don't let them know they want to or have fucked a tv, tell them, give them the choice,lots of Cpl's have veri's from TV's so while it may limit some potential meets its not a red flag for everyone |

I think the main thing is they don't read my profile, if they have and attach a face pic I try to reply politely to them even if I'm not interested. If it's a one word message/dick pics/new user etc I tend to just delete - If they can't waste time reading my profile why should I waste time replying!  |
