most women will check out a profile before even opening a message so initially its your profile, and it being apparent that you have read theirs as well that will hopefuly mean your message gets read.. |

if you're highly physically attractive to the person you're message it shouldn't matter too much. but sometimes what you say can put that person off you. |

I Look at the profile before reading the message.
If there nothing there that I like, I sometimes don't even bother reading the message.
If the message is funny or articulate then I'll read and respond even if it's a no.
Generally it just depends on the feeling I get from the profile. Hope that helps! |

Anything can be a deal-breaker. I might read the profile and look at the pics first (naff profile and 20 dick-pics have me reaching for the 'delete' button). But a crass first message also leads to a 'delete', as can over-explicit verifications.
Basically, you've got to have all your ducks in a row. |

If your message showed that you had read my profile and that you were genuinely looking for something similar then I'd definitely reply.
However you need to have a good profile too.
A nice face pic sent privately is a big plus as well!
