Does anyone else find that filming sex is actually a serious challenge that is very hard to get right?
If you just film whatever is happening it's easy but to try and get all the right elements involves a lot of work! |

Amateur films are the best but there is a big gap between amateur and professional. It's not great when you're watching an amateur film and wishing you could see specific things that you can't, but professional films don't have that "real people/girl next door" edge. |

We started as amateurs 20yrs back and even though we are pro now shooting in HD & 4K we still like to keep it informal and use real everyday people to keep that amateur feel about them.
It is about getting angles right & keeping even a boring film interesting...saying this though no film is never really boring as everyones kinks are so different. |

I have thought about getting kitted up and trying to start making amateur films for uploading to a website but it's got so technical now i think it blocks a lot of amateurs out. I would probably be tempted to start something with someone who had the technical ability. There is one idea that i have for "virtual reality" porn that i think would be seriously good and another for how films are searched which to me is blindingly obvious but not being done.
On a connected subject, I do wish we could have some "proper" porn channels on late night TV. I don't think the government have a clue how much revenue this could generate! |

At the end of the day the best way to get a good amateur film is to have someone else film you.
That assumes you get to the end of the film without him joining in and the camera getting knocked over!
I would love to film a couple and despite how many times i say "no involvement" any couple would assume i'd want to get involved.
Some of us like making films as well as sex you know!

The government are doing the complete opposite & taking porn back to the stone age next April when none of us will be able to see porn when the internet block comes in (The Digital Bill), proxy servers can get around it for watching foreign stuff but hosting porn from the UK becomes illegal again unless you move your business to europe or the states.
Starting up in the porn industry now is very hard to almost impossible. |

I can imagine. Not only is the government out of touch but the big players have probably cornered any market worth cornering.
I wonder if porn was shown during the hours of 2am to 5am would rape and sex crimes decrease or increase? All those sexually depraved pervs would probably be in an armchair wanking themselves silly instead of out on the streets looking to rape someone? |

Any main companies knew about these changes coming into play 2-3 years ago & made provisions by going abroad , us coming out of Europe lost us our rights when it comes to hosting / viewing adult material on the net.
It may be a good thing in the long run as it will clear the pirates & free tube sites. |

Having a couple of cameras going at the same time is probably your best bet unless you have a camera man. These days lots of cameras capable of high quality hd video can be had for very little money. The cut in the different angles to make it interesting |
