Hey everyone!
So I thought it would be fun for everyone to share their safe word or words!
I'll go first. When in submit my safe word is...

"Simple...it's Red."
Same. I stick to the typical traffic light safe words and then it's instilled in me. If I chose a random word, I'd very much struggle to remember it when I needed to. |

I disagree.
Sometimes I can't even verbalise so of course I need them to be able to read it. But sometimes even at the start of play, doing something really basic that I can usually handle, I've had to amber straight away.
I barely use safe words because they can read me, also because I try really hard to push my own boundaries too and get stubborn about safe wording. But at the start with someone new... It makes sense to have one. |

I can't say I really agree with this. Whilst a Dom or Domme should be able to read situations it is sometimes difficult to do so, and also a sub has to have the ability to stop play at any time, whether it's to discuss something about it, or because they want to stop.
Not having a safeword in my opinion, and people will disagree I'm sure, is silly and every sub should have one whether they decide to use it or not.
Oh and my safeword is Purple OP  |

Swarovski, because if my mind is thinking that, it's most certainly not in the right frame of mind for play.
Swarovski is the company who make the silver crystal animals, figurines, vases, chandeliers and the small crystals used on jewellery, fabrics and s whole load of different things. Like I said, if I'm thinking about any of those, I can't be in the right play mode. |

I agree with you absolutely!
It's protocol in a D/s lifestyle.
It's what should be agreed between you and your Dom/Master first & foremost.
