"Where is the best place to get bondage rope from, preferably hemp or hempex rather than cotton. TIA"
Hemp can be a bit harsh on wrists and ankles. Braided cotton or polyester marks less so it gives you a bit more freedom. B&Q have some nice stuff. |

Hemp or jute are both quite harsh, Jute less so. Depending on who you are using it with I would suggest soft cotton rope. As has been said B&Q sell it in white but if you want coloured the ebay is your friend |

The simple answer is l bought my hempex on ebay, cheaper than bondage rope suppliers.
I was wondering why you want hempex, is it for suspension or ease of cleaning?
I prefer to use jute l have burnt the fuzz of mine and oiled it and its smooth. I bought cotton rope originally but it does not hold frictions well. |

Thank you, I'll have a look on there. I'm not a fan of cotton rope really, interested in the jute though, is that from eBay too?
As with all I think we have to find what suits us all best |

Sorry for the slow reply.
I bought two lots of jute on eBay.
The first was was 8m of 6cm Esinem's asanawa wet treated jute and it was like silk beautiful rope but expensive. I then bought off ebay from another seller some cheaper 8 x 8m 6 cm jute when it arrived l could have cried. It was hairy and rough and my playmate of the time refused to let me use it on her. But my rope sensei advised me to treat it myself. So l burnt the fuzz off and oiled it by hand, a great experience, my playmate then loved the rope as it was really smooth. It was still not up to the asanawa jute but a good substitute. It is my go-to rope for use private non sex play or rope events
For sex play and play at swingers clubs l use hempex as at the end of play it tends to end on the floor, and or gets bodily fluids on it, hempex is easily washable. |

online is best and cheaper if you buy in bulk, a friend on here bought 200m of 8mm Hempex at a good price and I have had some off him.
He may have some left if you want some and he whips the ends too, and could pick up when next at xtasia |
