Rant warning!!
Why do some (i realise this doesn't apply to everyone) single guys think they're going to get a shag by being rude?? I just don't get it. Replied to someone who lives an hour's drive from me saying sorry but it's too far for me - he can't travel. Got a rude message back. I honestly give up! I try to be polite and reply to as many messages as I can. Obviously I've blocked him now, but it really gets me annoyed.
So should I just routinely block everyone who messages that doesn't appeal to me, ignore their messages or reply with a polite no thanks?

On our couple account we were arranging to meet a single guy who lived 3 miles away. We suggested a place 2 miles from us and 1 mile from him and he said it was too far lol.
Some men, women and couples are obnoxious. Block and move on. |

Ignore and block the ones you don't want to meet. I've heard guys on here don't take rejection well so it's not worth messaging and being nice, you'll just get more abuse like the idiot you've just dealt with! |

Many don't take rejection well, that's why a lot if single women don't proactively message guys and prefer to be chased. They couldn't cope with a No thanks or to be ignored.
I dare say a few might become abusive. |

I've not had many abusive responses to me saying no thanks, I find they just agree with me when I say they aren't my type and just get messages back saying things like, worth a try or thanks for the reply. |

Saves all the types you don't want i guess...least you can narrow down who your after based on their profile. Might help separate the wheat from the chaff as it were.

These days I tend to use the No Reply means No Thanks line & it's on my profile that I probably won't reply.
Generally you can see from the 1st line if they're going to be rude,I then just hit the delete button without reading.

Message the ones you want to and either ignore or block the idiots and there are lots of them, male female, couples and fake profiles (couples and females are normally the fake idiots) as genuine people if not new will be verified.

I just ignore the one's that don't interest me, due to lack of profile or just have a cock pic, it works for me.
And yes I have had plenty of abuse over the years it just becomes water off a ducks back |

I block single men and do my own searching but still get abusive responses at times. Even had one the other day I blocked then he set up another account and then preceeded to message my new verification to be wary of me. No bloody escape frome them! No matter how proactive at searches you are |

I get it completely. You can't be bothered to look through the profiles.
Fine. But put yourself in the position of the men that are suppose to do that before sending a beautifully crafted personal message to the women.

I think some people like drama and attention.
When visible my profile states I will not respond to anyone outwith what I'm looking for, and I don't. I also use the filters available.

This makes sense to me. While it's sad that it's the abusive sorts who guide your approach to replying, any decent person should accept that having read your profile well enough in the first place. |

I got abuse for replying to 'how are you?' recently became when he asked if wanted to meet I said no. Apparently that made me a time waster and I should have it owed the messages ! You just can't win. |
