You do realise not everyone wants fab to intrude in their personal or work life?

"You do realise not everyone wants fab to intrude in their personal or work life? "

You do realise he's not asking if anyone wants to feel better about themselves by posting a bellendish reply to a genuine question.

I mean what the fuck man. Do your judgements and go.

Anyways....

I've seen some people on here say they try and drop the word 'fab' into conversations. Makes sense... It's not exactly a tenuous link to genuine conversation. I guess, delivered with a cheeky wink, it tells people exactly what you mean.

I really like the idea of a word that helps consenting adults identify each other's intentions without the risk of upsetting each other.

Sorry I thought with it being a public forum I was allowed to give my bellendish opinion but I'll quietly move along and leave you guys to it

The trouble is by bringing it up face to face it could get awkward. There was a guy I saw regularly at work, for a long time he seemed quite shy and awkward but then started to be a bit bolder, he eventually asked 1 day if I'd had a nice weekend, I'd been at a swingers club, so I just replied vaguely, he pushed me a bit then finally admitted he'd seen me on line so knew where I'd been and that he'd been fantasising about being with me and was rather persistent that we hook up. I'm married and so is he but the difference is his wife doesn't know, plus mixing work with pleasure is far too messy so obviously turning him down face to face was awkward.

It reminds me of the famous fab line of "if only i lived closer to you".....why? Proximity does not equal attraction. And its the same with this subject, you may well be thinking how sexy she sounds, she maybe thinking "can't wait for this call to be over" just because someone is a swinger doesn't automatically mean that they want to swing with you.

Exactly this, there's such a thing as discretion too. If someone started dropping words like that into every day conversation as a pointed hint then not only would I not meet them Id also think twice about their mental faculties!

You could say you are 'in the lifestyle', but if the listener doesn't understand then you'd be faced with having to give an explanation.

Perfect response. I'm always amazed at the presumption that because you fancy someone and a swinger, it's axiomatic they'll fancy you.

Indeed. Time and place for everything. That said, I wouldn't have a job if people did behave appropriately at work!
