But I don't think voluptuous is the same as fat...it's like saying fabulous.. lots of people think this is 'quite' large..
Voluptuous in my opinion is the 50s sex symbols..Diana dorrs, Monroe etc...
We have a problem with the word fat..as it's seen as hurtful, in reality it's exactly what it is..excess fat, we seem to avoid hurting feelings sometimes but are happy to let people hurt their health. |

adjective:
(of a woman) curvaceous and sexually attractive.
synonyms:
curvaceous, shapely, opulent, full-figured, well formed, well proportioned, Junoesque, ample, Rubensesque, buxom, full-bosomed, lush, luscious;
I think the key is 'well proportioned"
It's like strongest man competition on TV those guy are very strong but I wouldn't class them as muscular as the majority have huge guts...but they may class themselves as athletic?? |

Everybody has their own ideas of what fat is though
I'm fat I'm a size 16 and I never have a problem saying I'm fat because I am, I don't say it because I'm misrable or to be negative I say it because it's true and I'm just one of those people who are quite blunt
Thing is if you say your fat people feel they need to cheer you up and tell you your not and that really annoys me
But by putting in my profile I'm voluptuous it sends a more possative message out, my pics are the same, my size is the same, but the just the difference between the word fat and voluptuous is a major selling point and attracts different messages
Of course not all men like fat women regardless of what you put but they wouldn't mail me either way so makes no difference them
I just got fed up with the awww your not fat mail, by just swapping that one word has made a real possative to my messages |

I always associated voluptuous with big boobs and such...like curvey, but more sexualized.
I just asked Marc and he said he thinks it means chubby. I guess we have different understandings. |

Photos can be very deceiving... For instance with mine... Just my eyes. But I mention I'm a size 22/24 in my profile.. Attraction first starts with image.. But it's personality that wins!!!! No matter what size we all are. |

Thank you, I wasn't fishing for compliments and actually think voluptous is a nice word for the more curvy woman. I guess it's open for interpretation x |

That's daft
Your obviously happy with yourself or you would already be on a diet
Your going to change yourself because of one comment made by a guy you meet for a shag?
If a meet upsets you change him not yourself |

A world of my own |
I like the term voluptuous more than curvy. Think you can be curvy at a size 8 or 20 but voluptuous is probably more accurate for me personally.
However with all these things it's really irrelevant. Everyone is far more than just their clothes size and it's a shame that most of us let it define us so much. |

"What's the difference between slim, skinny and thin?"
Slim, small & in proportion
Thin, slight built & probably pale looking.
Skinny, term used for kids & teenagers.

You don't have to worry about anyone's health, just as you don't have to hurt anyone else feelings |

Personally i find some fat/voluptuous/curvy women attractive and others i dont...
For me it isnt the size or rolls of fat which determine attraction
Its the whole package and personality...
Im fat but truly dont find that it puts many off. Most love my boobs, big bum, eyes, smile and personality.. some love my squishy belly...
Id say just go with the flow .. why try to set a rule such as i wont go bigger than a size 16.
Im a 14 top half and a 20 bottom half... what the hell are u gonna do with me? Lol.... |
