The meets I had many years ago went well.
Has anyone been in a sitution where they felt uncomfortable at a meet?
Maybe the person didn't look like their pic for example. |

Yes Unfortunetly the lady I was meant to meet turned up looking ten years older and a lot bigger than her pictures,needless to say we did not get on,not that I mind a curvaceous lady but honesty is very important!! |

Had to knock one lady back a few weeks ago.....to put it bluntly she didn't smell clean. Had a coffee, tried to tell her politely that I didn't think we clicked. She went home...added her to my block list.
Sounds harsh but sometimes you have to do these things....only possible problem is she knows where I live now lol! |

Quite a few times, they didn't like the same things as me, were too pushy, rude, saying nasty things about my husband. Acted like they didn't fancy me but had sex anyway. Not all like that though but having a bad meet can put you off for a while. |

Yes, practically my second meet on the scene I think.

Yes, when he turned up at least 10 stone heavier than his photo.
THAT was awkward.

Yes. A couple told me they were smokers which I said I was ok with. When I turned up I discovered they were class A smokers!! I made my excuses and left sharpish. |

I remember a few years ago meeting an Indian couples, they kept talking in their own language, they would ask me a question then proceed to talk amoung themselves in their language, it made me feel very uncomfartable because they were clearly british born as their English was perfect so the only reson i could think of for them not talking where i could understand and join in was they were talking about me and saying things they didnt want me to hear, right in front of my face
I left after one drink telling them i'm clearly not a part of this conversation and they would be better left to talk alone |

Only last week I arranged to meet a guy for the second time. First time we met he was nice and I enjoyed what he did, but whilst chatting via text he said some things that made me uncomfortable. I told him that I had changed my mind and gave him the reasons why. Then the usual rant ensued, calling me a timewaster etc etc. Seems my instincts were right about him. |

This has happened to me, yes. A couple of times.
Most of the meets I've had have been alot of fun, even if they haven't come to anything. The anticipation alone is quite an adrenaline rush, and some of the fun that I've had has been amazing.
Two though, were not great. Not at all. ! |

When I first joined years ago, a couple approached me, decent profile and some decent pictures.
After chatting we arranged to meet, I asked for a face pic of the Mrs as most were turned away etc. and he said "don't you worry, she's stunning."
Well I was a little naive at that time so I thought ok, let's meet up. We agreed a pub about an hour away.
I walked in and they were the only ones in there and I kid you not they looked like the fucking Krankies!!...I ordered a and had the most awkward half hour before I politely explained his idea of stunning wasn't the same as mine.

Been very fortunate with meets..only one that was awkward was when I meet a single female and everything was going very well..drinks,laughs and got into sex. Yes, a couple of times, two men have scared me, one with his idea of role play which would get a ban if I said what it was. The other was just shifty and put me on edge for various reasons - I did report him, but nothing happened. I have changed how I conduct meets as a result of these two and some may think I am awkward, but safety is everything. |

We've been pretty lucky. Usually, we have been able to people out through back and forth messaging.
On the other hand, my wife has met men and been extremely disappointed because they looked nothing like their picture, or they were extremely socially awkward.
