Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum |
New to the forums, not to the site. I am curious about socials. What are the differences between a social, a party, or a meet? If I meet a woman/guy/couple for a drink, thats a social meet right? But from what I have read on the UK forum thats not what a social is. So whats the difference between that and a swingers club or party?
Also I have read several posts and none of them seem to invite single fems. Always couples and single blokes. Is this a hard and fast rule or can I beg?
Any info gratefully received. If I do get to go to one (if I am allowed!) I'd best know what the differences are. |

If you choose to meet a couple or guy for a drink then that is a social meet between you. A "social" is usually an organized event, they are usually found either in the uk forum or meets and parties and most of them are open to everyone. Find one in your area and put your name down. Or message the person who is organizing it and say you would like to come along |

Right, so there are socials, and Socials!
Unfortunately for me all the ones in my area are already full or on a weekend where I am busy, but I did want to check what the protocol was for future dates. So if they only say couples and single blokes, it's worth chancing my arm and asking to go? |

LOL there is a reason we're known as unicorns . However there was one social I was reading about (one of the camping ones I think) that just stated room for 40 couples, so I assumed no singles were welcome. |

well I know of one swingers campsite that still has the very old fashioned attitude that only couples are swingers and so no singles are welcomed whatsoever - so it might be that was the venue - or another one with similarly archaic ideas - more than likely it was just an oversight and anyone is welcome. |

If I'd known earlier I probably would have done. However I am now going to a party and am very much looking forward to it! Hopefulyl they will arrange another one this year. Or maybe I should sort one for York! |

never seen a social that dont want single ladys, most are couples and single ladys with a limited place for single guys. Single ladys are always in demand x maybe you read it wrong |
