I had mine done five years ago..and stupidly took it out as the new guy didn't like it!! I loved mine and just walking down the street was an experience. One day I will do it again |

I'm at 8mm and have been for a good few years now. (Over 10)
More women find it a turn off than a turn on though although the only woman that matters loves it. 
You won't be quite so rock hard when she slides the receiving tube in and gets the big needle out. 
As soon as it's healed properly, you can start to stretch. When it's a thin gauge you can get the "cheese wire effect". When it's past 4mm it's a bit more robust. When you get to 8mm you can start hanging stuff off it. Hahaha. |

I had mine done about five years back - no issues with it settling down - took about a month. Don't upsize too quickly as tempting as that is and go up in mm sizes till you get to the size you want. It is very much like marmite - some like and some don't but easily removed. |
