I'm sure you could find that here, but I also think people's first priority here is sex, not necessarily conversation. But of course, everyone here is different.
If conversation about specific things is important to your sexual experience, then perhaps seek out that conversation (there are various social environments for this) and allow the sex to come organically.
But if you want that from this site specifically then explain that on your profile and seek others who are interested in the same. I'm sure there are people out there looking for the same or similar.

For me, a bit of dialogue is important before sex. It establishes a rapport, and perhaps lets you know what things the object of your desire likes and dislikes. And with that in mind, I prefer it if the charming woman I'm speaking to is witty and well-informed   |

I have a physics degree.....but like the OP I'm straight. So any intelligent conversation is unlikely to go any further lol.....

I like people I can chat to. Intellectual debate isn't necessarily a requirement; sometimes just being on the same wavelength and being able to share a companionable silence is just as good as wittering on. |

They don't all have to be heavy debates, just a well constructed one, I remember meeting a few couples in the early days and some of the males would start talking sport early on, now I'm not really a sport fan so i hate talking sport, it bores me stupid..but i felt they saw it as a way to connect with my 'blokeness' on a mutual ground, needless to say the conversation didn't flow..I'm not saying all couples do this, but it made me shy away from the couple scene. |
