I go in chat for the odd wank on cam.
When I say odd I mean I dress as Darth Vader and paint my cock bright red like a light sabre.
Apart from that I find them a bit like the Wild West, full of desperados. |

I use both chat and forum, it's interesting to me because forum postings (something I have never done before fab) are always a group discussion, whereas the chatrooms very rarely go that route, it mostly is one to ones with the occassional group discussion about how hot someone is on a cam or something, lol, never me unfortunately, hey ho, life goes on, lol, group hugz to fellow forumees, xxx |

I had a look in the chat rooms when I first joined Fab....and it scared me silly so I became a forumite. However, got dragged in there by my girlie over a year ago....and soon got used to it. Tend to use the general chat room mainly and have got to know quite a crowd of the regular posters.....these days probably spend more time in chat than using the forums...although I do lurk several times a day  |

Used to go in General chat every night for months on end, then realised its always the same old, dont get many meets from chat and it got rather boaring to say the least. Directing room seems to get you not many meets either just ppl wanting a quick cam fix, which is not for me. Infact dont really get many meets from fab at all, all our meets apart from the chat room social we went to, have been from our local swingers clubs. Much more our thing. But i keep comoing on forums and fab as we live in hope lol

to be fair chat is very similar to the forums, you get quieter times and very busy times.
Have enjoyed them both at times and not enjoyed them both at times..
as for cliques... same as the forums... people have bonded and are friends. |

I've made a friend online. I asked her today if we were now a clique. She said she wasn't sure. She said what do we do now then? I said I wasn't sure.
I know one thing.... we are the lousiest clique in the history of cliques. But I have a friend!!!

Don't be daft its not as simple as all that. When another joins two women we have to be comfortable knowing that when we leave the company (to say 'powder our noses') we have to be sure the others aren't talking about us! Thats why we go to the loo in twos because the other two still at the table know if they can talk about us then we will be talking about them... its all scientifically plotted and never a word is spoken its just learned at birth - its in twos! |

I use the chatrooms more than forums, and find the banter in chat better, as you can usually see facial expressions if the people you're chatting to are on cam...... just my humble opinion |

we tend to use the chat rooms, and like a lot of folk here we found it to fast paced and confusing at first, but the more we used it the easier it got, and as for people ignoring you, the chat can go quite fast so people saying hi can get lost in general chat, but us for one tend to say hi to folk when they come into the room, and ask how they are, if they want to chat after that it is up to them, but some folk do come into the chat room with a bit of an attitude and because of that they do get ignored, but if you are friendly then you wont have a problem |

And this is one guy who I have got to know from the chat rooms.
When I first joined Fab I was a prolific poster on forums am now more of a lurker there now. Much prefer the chat rooms, the banter is good. As Mucky said you can see peoples facial expressions. I just try to avoid the Tuggers when they are on. |

Tend to agree to an extent, the general room is clicky, not so much the others, but we feel the forums are very clicky too.
This site is split into two parts, those who use chat rarely use forums, and the forum people rarely use chat.
there are some that cross over and use both, us for instance but they are two different breeds. |

And as far as the chat room is concerned they should rename it "inane quickly typed and forgotten nonsense room"
How can random sentances appearing from 50 odd different users be described as chat. |
