Great for first time. A bit of blush goes a long way on the apple of your cheeks. A thinner line on the eyeliner if you line the bottom lids.
YouTube tutorials helped me a lot with eyeliner.

Ace for a first attempt! I looked like a clown on my first attempt, or like a 5 year old tried to give me a makeover 
YouTube tutorials are a ton of help, I'd tried to figure stuff out on my own thinking it was self explanatory but there's lots of simple tips that make a big difference.
If you think you look good now, wait 'til you've got more practice and start experimenting with different styles and products, I can tell you'd look great, you've got the right kind of face for it :] |

Looks good but less eyeliner at the bottom if your doing the top unless your going for the goth look, the more you do it the more your eyes will stop twitching it just has to get used to it. Just remember if you want people to focus on your eyes use a subtle lippy or just use gloss and vice versa if you want your lips to stand out go subtle with your eyes. |

You've done really well for a first go. A tip that helps me is get a lip pencil the same shade as your lipstick and draw round your lips first then do your lippy inside the line. it helps to keep your lippy from smudging about. I'm terrible with makeup though so hit YouTube for tutorials!  |

experiment n find a style you like,look at girls in the street,pubs what ever n see what style you like,then go for it.
practice makes perfect,oh n try some false eyelashes it can transform your eyes beyond belief.

Blend, blend, blend! Eyeliner is a bitch, so instead of trying to draw one continuous line, draw a few dots close to the lash line and smudge with a small eyeliner brush or sponge applicator.
Also, EYEBROWS! They balance the face, just go easy initially & as many have said, YouTube!
