Wearing pyjamas taking rubbish to skip

Seen yesterday as I took my garden rubbish to our large recycling plant...one lady resplendent in her jammies taking bricks, garden turf out the car to throw it in the skip!

Nice white floral bottoms and pink top...got lots of glances for all the wrong reasons! Not for me....but I must confess I had to rush my daughter to school in the car as she was late a few weeks ago and threw on a dressing gown!

I think I'm the only woman near where I live that thinks it's wrong to go shopping in pjs, the thought of getting out of bed not washing or getting a shower, staying in the clothes you have slept in and going out turns my stomach

is it just a female thing? I've not seen many blokes do this apart from the odd crayzee student. I think it just looks lazy and like they ain't going to work.

They won't be going to work wearing pyjamas

I don't really take much notice of what people are wearing. I'd rather go to the dump in pyjamas than my more expensive clothing. She may not have had any old thing she didn't mind ruining.

What's the difference between pjs and lol gong around in joggers?

I don't own joggers so if i wanna be comfy it's pjs.

I have been to the shop in them. There is no point in getting changed just to change back.

Yeah when you're doing a massive clear out and sorting through all your crap you do it in your comfies, for me that's bleach stained jogging bottoms an t shirt but not opposed to doing it in my pyjamas. Going to the tip and throwing away all the bin bags is therapeutic and relaxing, I think pyjamas are the perfect attire for the tip. Not my tip though, there's a mind blowingly attractive guy in my civic amenities site.

I think many people get loungewear mixed up with pyjamas but it's still not suitable attire for certain public tasks imo.

In their defence many sleep in the nude especially in this weather so it's highly unlikely they actually sleep in such clothing.

I would never ever go out in my night clothes.

I always bath, wash hair and get dressed. Never wear jogging bottoms either.

We had some parents drop their children off at nursery wearing their nightclothes but they were told to dress approprietly.

Whenever I've been to a Dr's appointment, often see people clearly just got out of bed & still in PJ's. Very often seen in the local shops too & yes, Tesco's

I often go shopping on an evening in my dressing gown and slippers.

Can't see anything wrong with it .

I went to the doctors and accident and emergency a couple of weeks ago in my pjs.

In my defence I was in tremendous pain and didn't give a shit tbh
