How many of you play with people from the same town as yourself? I have had a couple of meets but find lots of people find it awkward knowing they could bump into you outside of fab. What are your thoughts and experiences of this? |

We e played with loads of swingers from our town and nearby .
Fab and swinging are like fight club , and as long as everyone respects this its all good . You simply don't talk about it outside the scene .
There have been a couple of instances where it's been a bit awkward , like in the supermarket when someone greets us as a long lost friend when we have the little one with us , but overall no problem . |

So if you bump into them by accident, you'll both know the same secret. Who are they going to tell?
It's not likely that they will turn around and shout, "Hey, I met these people whilst I was at a swingers' club last week."
Or, "These guys are dogging friends of mine."

I have bumped into 3 previous meets locally...........
One girl in MacDonalds, she was in the queue right behind me with her kids and boyfriend,
One walked straight past me in the town centre market.
And another sitting at the next table in Weatherspoons with her husband.
On all 3 occasions I was totally discreet, ignored them completely, and disappeared before any embarrassment could occur.
Swinging is private, and should be kept so.  |

Yes I live in a small town, in a small county .. most people here give their location as somewhere else ..
If I trust someone enough to be intimate with them, I trust them not to comment on this while out shopping

When you see them and they are with their wife, and they are looking at you grinning over the fruit and veg in the supermarket, its not good!!! lol |

Bang on this... Everyone has secret lives, don't expect to meet the same person in the street...
It's the same for any walk of life, you don't treat your family like your work colleagues...

This, if I wasn't happy that someone was discreet I wouldn't mention them so no problem for me.
I've also seen fabs pics of Fab users who live very near me and have never seen them around. |

Not really fussed where they live just
so long as they actually turn up when invited.Gail has bumped into and fucked

I think it's different for everyone..I personally have done it and still do. I see the persons in question quite a lot and I'd say we're friends of sorts. Long as they don't start reeling off meets and inappropriate conversations then I'm okay with..but most would probably prefer to keep the two very separate |

I meet local and non local people from this site. Its a real shame that we cannot be as open as other nations and be accepted for what we like sexually. I dont think I want my work colleagues knowing but what is the worse that can happen? My daughter and sister know I use this site and they are fine with it. So I dont really care what anyone else thinks. |

I have never understood why people get so hung up on meeting locals - I've met someone who lived literally around the corner - very convenient! :D :D I think most people are generally grown up about it all, in my experience. I've bumped into people in the supermarket, at TumbleTots with my youngest, in town shopping.... you say 'hi' and walk on by, as if it was anyone else you know casually.

Not bothered too much. If a regular trusted meet then local is OK. If it's a one off very naughty meet like a mmmf then out the area. Don't like to get a rep for being the local bike lol |

Same town is fine, we aren't going to shout out we are met this person or that on a swingers site. We would always ask if we would acknowledge or ignore them if seen out then its sorted |
