its clear from many posts on here that many forumites place little value on verifys, however we do (so long as they are from meeting, not phone/camming) - not so much the content but that they have some as gives confidence they are gen...
though we have seen a few couple profiles where the verifys have all been about the bloke only so we steer clear of them, but ...
we have seen a few profiles that prefer to cut'n'paste the best bits of their verifys into the text of their profile and then only show a few verifys at the foot of their profile...
now surely that is weird... how can one really know if the bits they have editted are true (were sent) or just creative writing??
(though those profiles that say like "we had these verifys on another site we do anyway ignore) lol

God, I feel like a broken record saying this over and over but (a) how other people want to word THEIR profile to attract people THEY want to play with is down to them; and (b) the opinion of total strangers have absolutely no bearing on who I'm going to invite into my home and bed!
If, at my age, I can't ascertain over coffee whether the person before me is not a figment of my imagination and there's physical attraction present, then it's time to walk into the Maudsley for psychiatric evaluation, as clearly I'm nuts and shouldn't be allowed out unaccompanied! |

if there is someone who is a nutter and they verify another person, I tend to avoid.
not for a second am I saying there is a nutter on here....

can i clarify what i mean about verifications...
Do I take stock in them.... not really... I like to make up my mind about people from what I see of them and what I get to know about them from talking to them....
I know... novel approach!!!!
but what I find is that "some" people think that verifications are the be all and end all and thats is where a lot of the discussion arises.....
all that a verification means for me is that they showed up and they were who they said they were..... nothing more...
I don't really want a play by play of how a meet went, how big cocks were, whether they came tons, whether the women gushes... or a million other things...
there is a line between verifying people as genuine... and being really indiscreet about what you do/did and what you got up to
I think some overstep that mark... and yes that is then a huge turn off for a lot of people.... |

I like veris i like to be a little nosey and get an idea of who im meeting. Plus its a good way of catching people out was chatting to a guy last night checked his profile and veris and he had been involved in a bareback gangbang with a pregnant lady it put me right off. |

I am not obsessed with verifications and I must admit I have to virtually remind myself to read peoples that Im going to meet. I do like to build up my own _iew on how someone is.
I do show my veris but its for my benefit rather than anyone elses. Ive met these people, they have taken the time to write me a verification so I show it. I havent received a bad verification as we have never had a bad meet, but I might show it on my profile if I did, be quite amusing wouldnt it. Though I did receive a veri today in which the guy described me as a hot Barbara Windsor  Im not sure I want to be likened to her (god do I really giggle like her, im horribly coming to the conclusion that yes I do) but Im gonna post it for all to see cos it was written with fondness cos we had a brilliant meet and the couple were gorgeously funny |

To be honest some of the best meets i've had have been with un verified people, lots wont meet people who are new to the site with no veries, but what they seem to forget is we was all there at one point
Also even if someone has a dozen verifications saying how great they are that does not mean i will like them
So tho i read them cause im a nosey sod i would never meet someone based on their verifications or lack of them |

I agree with naughtynymphos .... I will meet with unverified people, as I have more faith in my own judgement than I have in what others have said.
And I will deffo NOT verify people by cam (especially single males, so stop coming into General Chat and asking me to!) In my opinion, the only value of cam/phone verifications are to prove the existance of a female. Single men.... please stop thinking that a verification is the be-all and end-all of everything! It's not! |
