We go to Temptation in May for our 3rd trip, it's an amazing place and can't wait. We have always felt extremely safe in Mexico, more so than in London and Manchester!
TTR isn't a swingers resort, but some swingers do go there. Its sister resort Desire is a clothes-optional lifestyle resort but is very expensive from the UK.

Certainly don't listen to advice like this. It's like Americans being given advice not to come to England because they could get blown up by Muslim fanatics.
Cancun is a safe place to take holidays and there are some great places to visit. Temptation is a party resort like Club 18-30 but more like Club 25-60. Their is fantastic beach in Cancun that runs down the length of the peninsula but unfortunately it is quite poor at Temptation. No rtrip to cancun would be complete without a visit to Coco Bongo nightclub which is simply fantastic.
There is a drug war gioing in in parts of Mexico and it has "touched" parts of the Mayan Riviera but tends to involve corrupt officials and/or Police. Cancumn is very well perotected and we have felt mucgh safer there than say in parts of Egypt.
