All the time. I figure that is the percentage of people we actually appeal enough to for them to write a message. I'm fine with that, having an inbox full of messages I don't want doesn't appeal either. |

Can't comment on your profile as you haven't asked us to look at it. Could be a good place to look tho as to why you atent getting the amount of messages you would like.  xxx |

This isn't a "Oh poor me" reply, but I would be happy with just one message, if it was from some who was genuine about meeting up (social or otherwise), but I don't. I must be either but ugly, too old, or in the wrong part of the country. Personally, I would say all three  |

Nope..I am 100% happy with my profile.. I am also very chilled thanks! I have had a lot of meets and was merely querying how strange that the amount of views are much much greater than the messages I receive. I know exactly what I want and what I don't want and I won't compromise... Why should any of us! |

I know. I've suspected for some time that most of my views come from people who think I'm a woman. It's a shame really, long blond hair, blue eyes, glasses, long legs, I sound so hot as a woman. They must be so disappointed. |

yesterday I had over a 1000 views and that's obviously not including the 'secret stalkers'...
I also got about 50 messages, none of which were remotely what I was looking for..

Someone viewed me once....i sometimes used to have to check that i was a woman as the tumble flew through my profile. The joys of living underl someone's bed
Still i fixed that by stopping meeting so now it doesn't bother me  |

What I don't understand is when someone looks at my profile 3 or 4 times in a short period of time but doesn't send a message.

That might be a good thing though if you think about it, perhaps a lot of them are actually reading your profile, and discovering theres incompatibilities ? Saves you sifting through dozens of messages looking for compatible ones x

It will show I was looking at your profile today with no message.
I am outside of your requirements and blocked (which is fair enough)
Personally I think your location maybe the main reason for lack of interest.
You come across quite assertive and picky (which is not a bad thing) and less confident people may be put off, whilst specifying you don't want a dominant character, so maybe a little rewording.
But I bet in 6 months you will be thinking it was easier when there was just 10 messages!
There are lots of time wasters and if people are contacting you but are closer to what you are looking for then that is probably better then reading lots of messages from people you not like, all the best Jen xxx

i had almost 1000 views the other day, did have a busy inbox but nowhere near 1000 messages and fuck all fabs on my pics so most people who look at me aren't interested i'd say. |

We get about 60 views a days, a few more if we have a status up, and up to a couple of hundred if we post pictures. We only get 1 or 2 messages a day, so when people says that women and couples get hundreds of messages a day, that sure as hell doesn't apply to us! Like the OP we have succinctly explained what we want, what we don't want, and what type of messages we will reply to, and I have no doubt that is the reason we don't get many messages. At least most people are taking in our requirements! And that suits me fine, because I only want to hear from those who meet the description of what we are looking for. We also have restrictions in who can message us. We see no point in everybody's time being wasted by sending messages for the sake of it. |
