I often get messages from some lovely hot sexy guys.......who live the other end of the country to me!!! 
Much as I am flattered, I can't see why they bother as the chances of us meeting is very slim...right?
Or do some of you travel long distances for a meet? I guess if you travel all over the country for work then it probably isn't an issue but otherwise. ...would you make the effort? |

Depends on the person and the meet for me. I'm not going to travel 3 hours for someone who is into quickes or something along the lines.
But to answer your question I wouldn't travel more than 4 hours each way regardless. Unless it's for the entire weekend  . |

I have flown up to glasgow to spend weekend with a lovely couple . 2 planes there , 2 planes back . Unfortunately , I get fucked about so much , that I have to travel for meets .  |

I'd travel quite far for the right person. But the only people I've spoken to over message who are far away is because of the forums.
I tend not to message people to far away as it seems pointless as most are looking for local merts |

I have travelled 3 hours each way for a good meet. My wife booked a flight to Edinburgh to meet a guy who then backed out the day before. If arranged in advance, travel can be quite inexpensive. So why not, for those of us who do travel? |

I'm lucky in that I travel a lot. Live in Scotland but often in London, Surrey/Berks and around the north of England. And, to boot, I love a cosy hotel room to play in. Come and join me |

We have given several who live far away the opportunity to meet socially first as that's what we always like to do and it's been a mixed bag really, but we have met and been able to play at a later date with the majority that took our fancy. X |

living where i live, i have to travel over an hour and a half to get to the first clubs...so its normal for me to travel..hell, ive even flown to america to meet someone. world is a small place.
im other countries they dont think twice about travelling 5-6 hours even 8 hours to visit people...for me its just about timing and finances x |

On a previous profile I had a woman do a 100 mile round trip to my house, she contacted me first, when she arrived she moaned about the drive and generally had the hump the whole time she was here? |

I think some messages we get a just because they want to perve the rest of our pics, and think mailing us will somehow mean that we accept a friends request lol!
Some are genuine, and we might plan a trip to visit those that are verified, but the rest... well there's plenty of free porn for them on the net lol!

Yeah that is true. Everyone that usually ticks my boxes and take my fancy have always been out of London. As strange as it may sound. Don't really like the mentality of many on my 'local' feed. Really puts me off. Many of who I got along with live outside of London.
I have travelled for meets. And I actually like that to be honest. Gives me an opportunity to travel around the UK and meet new people. My meets have usually been all day or all nighters/weekend so it's been worth it.
I know many may find that strange. But, I'm not really travelling for sex. I'm travelling to meet people I've become friends with. I can get the sex from those in London off the site but that's more of a 'vanilla' nature.

I have only ever traveled to meet one person but he was more than worth it, and it was always for an overnight stay ...
Previously I have had people travel up from Devon (for a weekend) and one man did a round trip from Milton Keynes just for lunch... With extras !
IMO distance is immaterial if the chemistry is there... And it's always worth taking that chance |

I appreciate that some people don't want to travel and don't want their potential playmates to travel....but some of us are perfectly happy to travel for a good meet and sometimes I write to a woman or couple who are 2-3 hours away. Providing, of course, that there is nothing in their profile indicating that they would prefer a local man.
I suppose messages from guys 100+ miles away who "cannot travel" would be rather pointless. |
