I have seen a lot of arguments that men and women today base a lot of their sexual expectations on what they have seen in porn... I never really subscribed to this viewpoint but I may have just changed my mind. Watching "lovelace" on film4, the story of linda lovelace and the film "deepthroat"... seems everyone at the time was amazed by her deepthroating oral skills. It was something new at the time. Yet now, what 40 years later? It's considered mainstream, not unusual. Just made me think of how todays sexual 'norms' may well have been shaped by porn. Any thoughts on this? |

Not just porn.
Fifty-shades has been phenomenal for liberating couples from vanilla sex. My FB who I really care for read the books then told me out of the blue she wanted to watch some porn. When I asked her if she had any particular preference she said something with restraints and spanking. For most on here that's nothing out of the ordinary, but having known her for so long I was gob smacked.
After that we picked up a small flogger and some cuffs and I've never seen her so turned on.
Then she said she wanted to watch a MMF threesome and I've been trying to find an appropriate video ever since. I've got a couple now so I can't wait to meet up again 
My point is that porn is great for inspiration and new ideas. People just need to use what works for them  |

Read fifty shades but wouldn't recommend it past first try at bdsm. Better information out there, I seriously doubt EL James has done much in rl. Men also get unrealistic expectations from porn. |
