worse than time wasters

so i'm struggling with this site. my cam won't work in the chat rooms so people cant see me. although im verified by others.
this makes getting meets difficult. but whats worse than time wasters and bad tech is people who dont verify after a meet!
I drove to Newbury on sunday night at 12:30am for a very last minute meet, drove home at 2:30am and didnt get given feedback. its a great shame we're not allowed to 'out' these types of selfish members. |

probably as i dont really read veris but would much rather make up my own mind up about someone i do tend to say to meets i am not bothered about a veri from you but if you like i will do 1 for you and have a lot say do you know what no its not a problem ,i now have mets that i meet regularly that we have never bothered to veri each other but thats just me |

people don't HAVE to give you a verification...maybe they did not enjoy the evening as much as you did and do not want to leave one...or maybe they just had not got round to writing one yet...and after seeing this in forums may not...people are not obliged to write one just because you met.I have had meets that did not get one...did I whine about it?no as it really isn't a big deal at the end of the day is it? |

im going to have a real good moan now you have veris and havnt got them up to see now how bad must those ppl feel knowing they given you a veri and you not showing it what a waste of their time to do it for you  |

I agreee to a certain degree, but he is verified already and chooses not to show them, so maybe the others choose not to verify people they meet or doesn't believe the meet was worth a verification or just haven't got around to sending a verification yet or any other reason in between.  |

and that is the best thing about the site we are all allowed to have our own opinion on things you have yours being that every meet should have a veri i have mine in that i really couldnt care 1 way or the other neither of which is wrong is it
the op came on to say he thinks that ppl who dont veri are timewasters but has he thought about what the ppl he meets opinion of veris is they could possible think that veris are a waste of time in their opinion
maybe imo the op should ask his meets if they going to veri him before he meets so that if they say no then he could choose if he wants to meet them or not |

You don't have to show verifications to come up in a search of a person who meets. People can be as private as they like then, so yeah, he may have his veri hidden, but maybe that wasn't a meet one and he was hoping to get a meet one so he comes up in searches.

Have you checked your "manage verifications" page to see if the veri is sat in there but never appeared in the "you have new verifications" thing?
That can happen sometimes.
I had a meet a few weeks back as part of my MM profile, and I was left a veri on both profiles, but I was never notified of one of them, I only found out I had it when I looked on the manage verifications page. |

Just goes to highlight how different we all are. I meet people for loads of kinky fun. Do I ask for or give verifications? No I don't. The only time I verify anyone is if they aren't verified.
To become apoplectic because someone hasn't verified you before the throbbing in their nether regions has subsided is honestly beyond me.

throwing a hissy fit just due to someone not verifying you (for what ever reason) isnt going to show you in a very posative light is it ? no where on the site does it state YOU HAVE TO VERIFY EVERY MEET .people can choose to how to set up their profile ,choose to verify or not ect. also did you state before hand your exspection to be verified ? if its THAT bigger issue maybe that should be made a point of .even then theres no garentees people would verify !thats the beauty of having freedome of choice lol!
personally id have thought the fact you are already verified and getting meets youd see you are already wayyy ahead of most guys on here !

We don't really give a flying fuck about whether verifications are left for us.
We always ask new meets if they'd like us to verify them because not everyone feels as we do, which is evident from this thread.
Verifications really don't mean anything anyway. Just because someone turned up to meet someone else, it doesn't guarantee that they'll turn up for you.  |

Do verifications really matter? I meet guys without them doesn't put me off I can't see what the fuss is about. I'm happy to leave someone a verifcation it doesn't matter if he doesn't back. As most my meets are not one offs so proves he liked what he saw I don't need a verification to prove that. |

I don't do verifications either. There's a bit of me that thinks actually it's a little selfish but that's just too bad. I don't show verifications, I don't offer them and I've given out three in the time I've been here.
It's not that I didn't have a good time or that it wasn't fun or that they weren't nice people I've met, I just don't want everyone and their pals knowing who I've played with. It's really very simple.
I certainly wouldn't verify someone who came in the forums and moaned about that fact!  |

I do yes, I think everyone should have the choice wether they give /show/not give/not show verifications.
They also have a choice of saying ah damn, I was hoping to get a veri and didn't get one and that was what I was answering

I think the point was missed of WHAT I was answering.
I was answering BB430 who said people moaned about blah blah and now they are moaning about this.
I am not sure where anyone got to me saying verfications are compulsory or that I commented on his post.
I will now comment on his post and also answer your questions.
No I don't think people are timewasters if they don't verify someone.
No I don't think people HAVE to verify someone.
No I don't think people should name and shame anyone for not verifying after a meet.
To your questions ( although I am not sure why I am being asked them )
Yes, most people are here for meets and that is obviously the most important thing.
For US, no, verifications are not important, but they are to some people, and for the single males of this site it seems to be a must for a lot of people otherwise they are not considered....so for this male, he may see them as important even if they are not as important as actually meeting and I can understand why he would want them.
No, I don't think not verifying someone after a meet is as bad as not meeting at all.

The verification process had to start somewhere so the first person to give a verification had to have been verified first ..... so who started it all? I have to go with creationalism on this one - the big bang came later!! I wonder if the first two can be traced back? Sort of like Adam and Eve lol. Or was it Adam and Adam or Eve and Eve! But is there not a part of you that says that if you are making someone give you a verification, with you standing behind them watching them type, that there is no pressure on them to write a good verification. If this is the case, could people argue the point that your verifications werent completely genuine, ie; pressure being put on to give a good verification.
I think you are joking though, I dont really believe anyone could possibly go that far as to make someone log into a laptop and leave a verification in that way. |

I kind of agree with the OP,the guy has travelled and turned up,people moan on here about timewasters and its usually aimed at single guys,the OP has shown he is reliable to the couple.
Ok,we dont know the reasons why they didnt verify him but if it was us then we would have left a veri saying yes we met yes he turned up.a lot of people on here wont meet guys if they are not verified. |

firstly the guy is verified genuine already . secondly wouldnt matter one jot of the meet said he was the shag of the century and hung like a horse as he doesnt show verifications anyway lol !!! so there is absolutely no difference if verification was left or not ,the ops no beter or no worse off .

I dont think it matters what time people leave their homes to have meets and how long they stay. Its got nothing to do with any of us how long someone elses meets last for. Or why they decided on a short meet.
I would leave a verification, especially to single guys, and the guys Ive met have all been lovely and ive had a good time. I like to show my appreciation by leaving a verification. But its my choice on whether I do so and its their choice whether they leave me one. |

It is frustrating, when I was a member previously it took me several meetings before I found myself verified... this time around I have had one meet since rejoining, unfortunatly that person is also not verified so neither of us can verify each other  |

You book a room not knowing if anyone will actually come, then you get the confirmation text so you know damn well they wont. On the appointed evening you settle into the room, put the telly on and settle down for a 'me' evening and what happens? Theres a bloody knock on the door and there stands a couple expecting sex from you. Of course it matters, that's why the OP mentioned it! Seems to be a spate of threads where the OP's mention time they left, miles they travelled and disappointed with the evening.
If you're going to travel 200 miles or leave your home at ungodly hours and not meet Heidi Klume or left a glowing verification outlining how within an hour you had the lady gushing a tsunami and walking like John Wayne AND feel the need to share on an OPEN forum, then I'm going to comment.
