You could write the best message ever and if the other folk don't fancy you they're unlikely to chat to you.. you might receive a thanks but no thanks message.

thats very kind of you but believe me I have tried every which way to chat to people and 95% of the time h get nothing. Although that is better than getting told to bugger off lol. |

It's also common courtesy to read a profile before sending a message to see if you're actually what that person is looking for but that rarely happens. |

We always read the profile before sending a message. How else would you know whether they /he / she is what you are wanting?

I've just had a message from a married guy who's cheating,I think I've made it clear on my profile regarding this subject,but he still messaged. I advised it was a good idea to read profiles first and he said why what did I miss. I didnt respond! |

I can talk the back legs off a donkey in every day situation's, I have no problem talking and starting a conversation off, if it's somebody I fancy and I'm trying to get their attention I'm shit, I just can't do it, I'm the only single women who can't get laid in a swingers club because I just freeze up if somebody I like comes near me |

You need to have something to say in your message. Couples and women's profiles are inundated with random men, all its very similar profiles, all saying things like how are you. Read their profile first, and if you are a good match introduce yourself and say a boy a bout yourself, maybe what you have to offer. Make reference to there profile so they know you're read it. I have to warn you though, if you don't have a profile that is appealing to women then it doesn't matter his good your message is. |

I like to just use any information in their profile that I can to strike up an initial message, shows you have taken the time to read the profile  seems to get a reply most times!!
Oh and sending a couple of pics with the message also helps  |

Make the message personal, including something from their profile to show that you have read it. If there is something in yours that goes against theirs like a small age difference or distance then mention it, as after it it is a guideline and you might get lucky. but at least they know you are sincere and not a chancer spamming cut and paste messages.
Just remember still most likely wont work but will give you more of a chance as you will stand out from the crowd. does not have to be an essay but more than one sentence helps. |
