Hi all hope your all well. I'm a regular dogger but have seen a bit of a decline in the South.. Is this the same for everyone?

Is Dogging really Dead?

I think alot of peoples issues these days to either do it or start is security. Alot of weirdos out these days and going thru the park or whatever really isnt that safe these days

As a door nail.

Still let's hope the nice weather (when it comes) will make a difference.

We have never been dogging, with no interest is starting, and in our area there has been something of a crack down by the council and law enforcement.

Pretty much, and good riddance really.

Yes police patrols and the crackdown has effected it but really it is the internet that has killed it off.

Why would you go to a secluded forest/car park with no quality control in the early hours to meet strangers with nothing better to do in the freezing cold and rain at 2am in the morning when you can use a site like Fab to talk to people and get to know them and see if you like them first. Here you can make sure you are meeting quality people with similar tastes that appeal to you from the warmth of your own home.

Give me a good event or private meet at home any day over dogging.

Never really got why it was "alive" anyway.

Cold, wet, random...just has the image of sad old men wanking in a dark clearing or in a muddy car park in a woods.

Warm house, party, club, comfy bed......these things exist, and infinitely preferred in my mind!

I'm told there is a lot less of it in the Peak District now days.

But I've never seen the appeal myself.

But I wish those well that enjoy it.

In Devon many of the laybys that had "facilities" and picnic areas are being shut; half the beauty spots on Dartmoor have granite blocks restricting access...

I was never a fan, I just think it's all a bit "hunt the cunt" and the cap they leave behind in these places is disgusting. I was driving past a local beauty spot last summer and nearly got run off the road by about 10 cars... one couple in the lead car and 9 single diggers following them around to the next "safe" spot

Do what you do, but not for me

This

Not just the act but the shit left behind.

It used to get to the point you had to go elsewhere to walk the dog/ride bikes/kids because of what they couldn't be fucked with taking home with them.

Glad it's been clamped down on.
