People not replying to messages but accepting friend requests...

Hey fabbers,
Have to say love this site a lot but struggle with some things. Like you send a message which gets read with no reply, fair enough not interested which is cool.
Thing is they then accept a friend request from you so you can see their private pics. Very mixed messages.....why do this?  |

I do this so I can look at their private pics or have them in my updates. Doesn't necessarily mean I want to chat to them or meet them. |

For me i have 750 unread messages now and 8 friend request. Its a lot easier to accept a friend request see if there is an attraction then message than it is to got through my inbox. Or maybe I'm lazy lool xx |

I don't send friends requests without asking first and then only after a few messages. Why would you want to be friends with someone you haven't chatted to?
But maybe that's just me? |

I've no idea!
We only send or accept friend requests from people we already know or are planning to meet at some point.
If someone is reading but not replying to messages, we assume they arent that interested and cut anymore contact.

Some people use the site just for exhibitionist or voyeuristic reasons. So they want to see your private pics, or they like to think about you enjoying their private pics. It's not the way I use Fab, but each to their own. They're not harming anyone. |

Why send a friend request to someone who you haven't conversed with, if you aren'the also interested in their pics?  |
