Bravado or not?
I've just had my first meet and played it totally straight. I was nervous and let it show because I dont see any point in hiding it. Should I have faked it and felt like a knobhead? |

Thanks I dont see the point on faking anything... somebody once told me "please yourself and you'll please everybody else".. it makes sense when you think about it.. |

Course not mate, every meet is like that whether it be a party or even one on one mEets. It is all part of the excitement and enjoyment of the scene it self. You will slowly gain confidence with more meets but those butterflies will always flutter. |

Lol cheers. But I find it isn't all about looks on here, well written and considerate messages are essential as well as good conversations. If you remember you aint there just to fuck but stimulate eachother then it becomes easier and nerves take a back seat after the initial face to face smile. Or is that just me :S lol |

I never get nervous before a meet. I've usually met socially a couple of times, been in contact so I'm meeting people I'm comfortable with.
Always excited...never nervous! |

A confidant man always makes me feel more relaxed and at ease but if you are nervous then just be honest. People do understand and being your self is very important i think. |

"we all get nervous, biggest fear is not rising to the occasion "
There are a few who don't if they can't relax. That's why rushed meets are often not a good thing. |

"we have been swinging for nearly 2yrs now and i still get nervous"
We get nervous; Kid’s terrible just prior to actually meeting, nothing more stomach churning than sitting there chatting away to folks, and waiting for the 1st one to make a move! |

Same here that can be worse bit of a meet are they going to stay and play mmmmmm ,but once the butterfiles have gone think it would be time to give up with the swinging lifestyle |

I wouldn't say nervous about 'rising to the occasion' however would say it concerns the mutual attraction as sometimes the pictures don't quite match the people, or the excitable nerves of the unknown and knowledge of what is to come. Confidence is key as one poster said earlier as it puts everyone to ease and you enjoy meetss so much more. |
