The idea is to protect you from nails and suchlike. They come lubed up so they can sleep easily into all kinds of places.....

Just thought of the poor bloke who stands in the loo looking at the condom machines. Puts in his money and just about to pull the leaver when someone walks in. Out pop the mini condoms.
