Why doesn't the people who run fab keep fake profiles off this site??
We and I'm sure others can tell who the fakes are!!!.

I am guessing there are that many profiles it would be hard for them to police them all I have spoken to people on here who have 5 accounts. Nice pics did the butterfly hurt it looks like it should?. |

Do you think Admin have nothing to do all day but look and message profiles to try and find out which is "fake" and which aren't?
What do you class as fake anyway? |

Reading similar threads with respect to this topic, its clearly obvious that fake accounts are on the increase. A set up fee for each new account ( say £5) may ease the problem, even if it was to get rid of 20-30% of these accounts.
That may get rid of those who set up accounts on a weekly basis.... |

.a guy had my pic in his friends pics,I reported it 5 times to admin,they did nothing about it and know message from them!!!. |

Another fake profile thread...one in the long line of millions.
What is a fake ? Some one who doesnt immediately reply to a message or a wink. One which deletes received messages immediately ?
Definition of fake is broad and everyone has a different view... Photo verified great go for it - Photoshop and nick one from some one else... brilliant...Next !
Verified by one user - The same ... Sorry but what is a fake someone who has been on the site for 1 month or 2 years?
So - question is how does Administration define who is a "time waster and a fake"? |

If you can tell who are the fakes, just report and block and move on to the next profile. That's what I do, and then there is no need for all this angst. |

If you had to bung a fiver in, upload a verification pic before being able to become a pest on this site, it would stop false verifs to kagool wearing nufters that make other single female profiles ( usualy 18-25 ) in order to prove themselves genuine and trick others into providing face pics to find out who people may be. Its that simple. |

Fab give you all the tools you need to spot timewaster/fakers/whatever.
Its a website. ANYONE can use it, and cant be vetted, except by you.
Everything you need to do this is provided.
Deal with it.

We have reported a few fake and or abusive profiles to admin over the years and they have been removed within hours; but there are plenty more around on this site and even on the payment sites. |

You wouldn't get as many women either. I wouldn't have bothered paying for a site up front if I didn't know what it was like. I'd have just moved on to another site. |

Fuck me... I've been called a faker SO many times on here cos I lost interest / didnt reply / didnt want to meet / changed my mind after finding something I didnt like.

In what way would it stop false verifications? Idiots have money just the same as other people....

1. I and many others wouldn't join if the site charged people. I am so dubious of using any sites requiring payment upfront. they are usually full of profile bots.
2. Many do not wish to use the photo verification service on the grounds of privacy.
The site works fine as long as you undertake your own checks on profiles. Anyone constantly being caught out by 'fakes' isn't doing their homework |

The words fake and timewaster are waved around all the time on here. It's often used when people approach or do things differently to someone else.

3 Couple profile who is again lone male.
2 and 3 same as 1. Collect pics or just to cause a lot of annoying messages etc. Wind up etc. |

OP...if you can spot them easily..then why should it bother you. They obviously don't fool you..so just block them and focus on the thousands of "genuine" ones! |

Ok thank you for the clarification. It's possible such people have contacted us, but to be quite honest we've never noticed. There's certainly a lot if 'chancers' who don't really understand swinging, but it never occurred to me that some of them may not be real. |

All users need to stay active and report suspect profiles and inappropriate behaviour.
There not going to be a perfect site that's not got inappropriate users on it, when service is free and it's as busy as fab. |

How do you know? You are advised when you report they won't let you know when or how they deal with the report |

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.
******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).
Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.
Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:
