Day use hotel rooms

Currently looking for a hotel for next Monday in the Stoke/Crewe area, but all my plans are being thwarted by Stoke having a home game. Does anyone have a sensible suggestion for somewhere that does rooms for day use, TIA

Been there and done that but because Stoke are playing at home that day there aren't any on the 2 sites I've tried
