Would you ask people before meets if have STDs or had there cheeks before you would meet them ? or meet and take a close look at there bits before you got to play ?? |

Obviously if a male turned up and his bits looked less than savoury then I wouldn't be playing with it so the meet would be over.......but then that could be for hygiene reasons too.

No, I wouldn't necessarily ask the question every time.
But would reserve the right to ask on occasion, depending with whom I was about to play.
The expectation is that someone in a position to play will be both clean & healthy.
The truth is that anyone who turned up for play who was knowingly carrying an STD would be unlikely to answer the question honestly anyway.

they could of had a meet the day after the cheacks and picked something up then but the paper shows them as clean you will never realy know unless it can be seen on the genitals

I`m a practical fella ...asking someone if they have an std is a waste of time ...people lie.....and people may unknowningly be carrying one ...which circumvents any validity in asking it in the first place ..

Just like a car MOT only proves it was roadworthy and legal at the time and date of the test
An STD test only proves somone is clean and healthy at the date and time of the test (And thast not even certain as diseases tend to need an incubation time period) |

No! I would never take someone's word for it, so I'd do the best to protect myself the best I could. If, for whatever reason, I felt the need to ask the question - and I haven't yet - then I wouldn't play.

I had a false alarm last year a guy I played with at chams told me he had caught something the night we played got checked out full screened and did not play with anyone for three months after until i got the all clear and still took me a further three months, 6 months in total to go back to chams. Was very scary and can happen to anyone. |

Just say you was down there looking at there bits thinking ooo this all look red and not sure .......... if rash or somthing as dont look right. It could be shaving. Seen all sorts of pics of people bits red looking nasty even in profiles.... do you say?? why is this like this ? its a very hard one as people could get nasty. |

Yes I would ask... and yes I have asked... and before you ask.... yes I have explained to people that no I won't be going there.

A few of you are going on about testing for STD's being the answer.
But its the old story testing can be at least three months out of date. If they show you the results and they were dated the same day it counts for nothing.
It maybe means they were clear of std's /hiv three months previous, and for HIV three months before the test for it to show up on the tests, so could it could nearly be six months.
Testing is only 100% certain for your own results, because you know what you have been up to sexually.
Somebody could have been having unprotected anal sex a few days before he pops down to the GUM clinic to get his results and then come and see you.
I think you should ask about std's. because a lot of people in this life work on the principle of " you never asked". |

yes you make a very good point we can go every 3 or 4 months get cheeks but if you play most weeks after the next person your with it could be you have it ... not untill next cheek up .. you will know .. this is a hard one as we all love sex ...... here ... x |

I don't get this whole sti questioning thing. Are you meaning should you ask a person if they have a specific non curable sti's like herpes or HIV infection? If someone has tested positive for these sti's, then they could be charged with assault if they do not tell you they are carriers and it carries a prison term for criminal transmission of an sti if you are knowingly infected by them. Carriers are responsible for protecting others from these types of infection.
The answer is always going to be no or I don't know in most cases anyway. If anyone discovers they have many of the other curable sti's then they must have been tested for it and after a positive test, comes the dishing out of the appropriate treatment from the gp or clinic. Why would anyone discover they have an sti then don't get treated for it? The fact they feared they had caught dsomething motivates them to be tested so they will carry it through after going to the trouble and take the medicine. Its common sense.
Using condoms offers some protection so in a lifestyle such as swinging then its essential you cover up and look after your own interests without needing to ask the question to which you're never gonna get a straight answer if the person you are asking does fess up they're infected. They don't care about their own health to worry about yours. |

I do tend to have a crafty inspection of a guys cock before putting it in my mouth. I wouldnt put anything in my mouth that had any sores or a thicker and smelly discharge or pre-cum but its certainly not a fail safe option - there is always the element of risk. |

i wouldnt ask simply because if they are the type of people who would meet with a STI they hardly likely to admit to it if asked and put you off meeting them
ive been swinging about 10 years now and can honestly say i have never cought anything
you just have to protect yourself the best you can, some people go OTT tho and seem to think everyone they meet will give them something
