Why do people feel it necessary to broadcast that they are leaving in X days/hours?

Do they expect to be begged to stay?

'site is so boring I'm leaving!'

'if this site doesn't get better I'm going!'

'that's it! I'm off now!'

'right I'm back! Message if you missed me!'

'I'm leaving!'

For me it's the men(public face pics) who bitch and moan theyre not getting meets after posting some status about the ladies looking like they should be on star trek or something then leaving and returning with face pics in private and continuing to bitch and Moan about the ladies here!
