I've had a 'straight' guy message me. I explained that the reason I had bi on my profile was I sometimes play with Transvestites.
He offered to dress up.
So dishonest and desperate. That's attractive. |

I regularly get messages from guys (some but not many) with straight on their profile. They are asking to play with me...I point out that it says straight on my profile for a reason....and maybe they could guess what that reason is?
Believe it or not it's because I'm straight.....why can't all guys just be honest?
But then again I reckon 75% or so of the "single" guys are not. And I've heard tell that a fair % of the couples on here are just guys....so it seems that fibbing is rife! |

This has always been a huge discussion here on fab over the years. I don't think guys that don't have visible face pics have any reason to not state their true sexual tendencies. But if like me you have very clear face pics and have a very public job, which is a business I own, then that's perhaps a valid reason for being less than completely open. Most profiles on here are not 100% open,be that age, status, sexual preference, old pics,no face pics. It's not always about lies it's about not being 100% open about everything. We all have private lives. After all how many people have told their parents they are on here....lol. |

I am afraid that I have to disagree. "Not being 100% open" about your sexuality is a lie. Verifications from people of the same gender is often a giveaway. |

How I wish it didn't. The world is a judgemental place. Even on here....as wingers site, supposedly a place of open minded people there are trolls, idiots, blackmailers and just generally bigoted people. I wish the world were a more honest place where others let others live. I don't judge anyone as I don't know their life or story.
It's uch a shame isn't it. We should all be able to plaster our face pics, full true story and details in here. I think we would all find more of the fun we seek then. |

I believe that some guys do like to open up every avenue so to speak, some straight couples will not see bi men and vice versa.
Personally speaking... I know I'm ruling myself out from a lot of "straight" meets by showing bi on my profile but why lie? It only causes hassle further down the line... I do wonder though how many of these straight but then bi folk are actually curious but don't like to advertise it. |

I get more straight men looking, winking and messaging me than I do bi guys or couples.
I know my profile says I can play straight if required but that really is aimed at couples seeking straight mind. How that can be construed as playing 1 on 1 with a straight guy I'll never know. |

I completely understand your point of view but anyone really looking at my profile can see the truth. It's about plausible deniability. As said I wish the world wasn't this way but it is. If people knew my story,my situation and circumstances they may understand. But everyone is quick to judge.
I am aware it means I lose out on some meets but that's fine. |

Same here. I usually reply that I don't play with straight guys and then I don't hear back from them. I sometimes get the usual abuse back or be called a time waster because I won't meet them. I still haven't found where on my profile it says I'm looking for any single men, let alone straight men lol |

Yes fab straight ! We love it Not ! I can't put bi as my granny's friends car will be offended etc, etc, if your profile does not say bi from the outset it's bi- bi
Nothing irritates more than the " flexi shsg" profile -v- message juxtaposition excuses |

This is the reason, it's very hard to find a couple to meet as a straight guy.
If you state you are bi you reduce your chances even more.
I don't really understand why some people get so stroppy and judgemental about it most profiles especially guys are a little inaccurate about cock size, hieght, age etc |

A little inaccurate maybe... but lying about your sexuality on a swingers site is pretty stupid as it can have a major bearing on whether your compatible or not. |

"People say all sortsa shite on their profiles. Take it with a bucket of salt"
There's the 'bi' ones who are clearly gay, the 'bi' ones who are clearly straight.
And don;t even start on the 'straight' ones... but I quite like them
Oh and the 'won't meet smokers' ones.
There's very little on my profile so there's nothing to lie about. Simple. |

Does get a bit weird when they start with 'Hi fella'.
And then they start trying to wheedle(now I know what it's like for some women)with 'ambiguous' messages about having a party, which then go on to mention wanking parties around watching porn, which then move on to better out than in. To which i reply 'Erm: I'm straight, and I thought you were too', to which they respond 'ah, well sometimes you just have to cum, lol(god how I LOVE the lol....).
Get at least one every couple of days.
It's nice to be wanted, but...
God I feel SO objectified...!
For the price of an extra fiver, I really don't know why they don't set up a seperate bi/gay profile to avoid fibbing. This must be what it's like in prison...? |

Sorry, it is not a witch hunt. "100% open," and "plausible deniability?" They are all pretty phrases. They both boil down to "dishonest." |

We find it really frustrating. We don't want to play with people who willingly deceive others. We don't want to make arrangements to play with someone who isn't actually bisexual and who hopes he can just avoid playing with my partner. It's a waste of our time, and we don't actually get that much time together. |

Well after some thought I have just changed my profile to bisexual. This I did after I thought as to the reasons why I didn't have myself listed as bisexual. And that is the social stigma that still sadly surrounds male bisexuality that doesn't exist in the same way for females. But I thought until more people are brave enough to challenge that stigma nothing will change. So now I have very clear face pics....use my actual name and have my sexuality listed. So perhaps I now get to deride all those who aren't brave enough to do all that. But i wont, because its each persons choice and i not only respect it but also accept it. I dont know their story. It's funny how there is another thread running about telling people you are singers and a lot of people on there use the reason it's my business and no one else's. ...which I agree with by the way.
Anyway there you go.... |

I have an issue with the 'it's my business' argument when it comes to sexuality.
If it's nobodies business knowing that you're bisexual, then logically it's nobodies business knowing that you're straight either. Why not write gay on your profile if it's nobodies business? Or would that mean that women wouldn't believe you were interested in them?
This site has no option for 'no sexuality', so by writing 'straight' and saying it's 'nobodies business' you are helping to further the stigmatisation that you mention at the top of your post.
FYI, women *do* get stigmatised for being bisexual. When I tell people I'm into both women and men, I either get enthusiastic men dribbling if they can join in with my 'lesbian' relationships (no - if they're lesbians then they're not interested in men) or I get told that I'm greedy and should learn to just pick one. Lesbians often reject bisexual women for being traitors, and bisexual women find it as difficult as bisexual men to find equality within the LGBT* scene. |

We have this discussion in the room i use a lot as there are loads of "straight" guys who come in, complain they are getting hit on and messaged by men and tv/ts members so you look at their profiles and then at their verifications and friends (this applies only to thse who dont hide their list) and they have no female verifications and one or two female friends and the rest are male and tv/ts friendssome dont even have female friends and when you point it out that that is the reason its the oh i can have who i want as friends |

I'm fully bi, have been for years. I equally love both pussy and cock - after all, why lie and end up with an inferior meet (if at all) which then leaves you feeling disappointed, looking a tad shade of vanilla, when had you been upfront, honest and genuine right from the start, you could of had the real thing, an amazing time and more importantly, self respect! |

That's why we won't meet guys that have straight on there profile, it's hard enough to get a bi guy that fits what we are looking for let alone a guy that says he is bi but has loads of excuses as to why it's not on his profile. Time is to valuable to run the risk of a bad meet.
We understand everyone has to start somewhere and if that's the case pop over to fab guys and meet someone there.
We have limited pics of me up and that's for a reason. I want a guy to play with a fuck Roxy it's for my pleasure to watch and I "might" join in if I so wish. Most emails don't take long till they ask on what my involvement will be and can they do this and that to me. |

My profile says im bi/bicurious , because with a couple of the cpls ive met in the past, some bi fun has happened, always in a 3 some scenario. Most of the cpls ive played with have been a straight mfm 3some.
So i guess im being honest in the fact that i am bi, becuase ive played that way, but its not why i meet couples, for the bi fun........
My biggest gripe is when couples but in big letters NO BI MEN as if we are the devil.......... i dont understand what the problem is with a straight couple playing with a bi fella is, im not gonna go anywhere near him if hes not bi, just as if the women says no kissing or something i wont do that either.
so that i would suggest is the reason why some put bi n some dont,,, Id be interested to know why some couples really dont like men that may have had some bi play in the past?????

I think some people think you are more likely to catch something off a bisexual male. I'm not sure if this is true but I think it might be a reason. |

For some people, that's true (And I don't begrudge them - the stats are what they are at the moment and swingers are a higher risk group right off the bat anyway.
Don't discount good old fashioned homophobia either though.
I personally don't care either way. Whatever the reasons, I'm not desperate enough to fake who I am just to get my end away. |

I think there are various reasons why bisexual men describe themselves as straight, for example, not wanting people to know or thinking that bisexual men aren't as sexually successful on here as straight men.

I think that being on fab for long enough can actually turn str8 men bi. They are driven with lust and the need for sexual contact but as there are very few real women on here, they never get any pussy. After a while they maybe fool themselves by trying to meet a man in a frock. After all, a mouth is a mouth right? I guess its a bit like some men in prison. |

They should have another category then
"men who have sex with men" or MSM. It's a recognised term used in the health sector to pick up those men who don't consider themselves as gay or bi but have sex with men.
Men on here say "straight" because women won't meet them if they say "bi". Which is a woman's prerogative if she has a preference. But I can guarantee the women who put "no bi men" have actually had sex with a bi men unknowingly so it's a pointless exercise really.
So....men stop deceiving others

"I think that being on fab for long enough can actually turn str8 men bi. They are driven with lust and the need for sexual contact but as there are very few real women on here, they never get any pussy. After a while they maybe fool themselves by trying to meet a man in a frock. After all, a mouth is a mouth right? I guess its a bit like some men in prison."
Haha - love that scenario !!! |

"There are much much more bi men than you think on fab! They don't wish to put bi on their profile as it puts ladies and couples off ...I have been told this many times.
This is the reason, it's very hard to find a couple to meet as a straight guy.
If you state you are bi you reduce your chances even more.
I don't really understand why some people get so stroppy and judgemental about it most profiles especially guys are a little inaccurate about cock size, hieght, age etc
A little inaccurate maybe... but lying about your sexuality on a swingers site is pretty stupid as it can have a major bearing on whether your compatible or not. "
Not really stupid no, if you meet a straight couple you just play straight and respect their boundaries lying about your size, age etc affects comparability more |

"They should have another category then
"men who have sex with men" or MSM.
So....men stop deceiving others
and...women stop being delusional that you haven't met a bi men because you've probably been fucked by one "
It's true. I have met a couple of bi guys, but they were open, and it was my choice. The risks are different, so I do believe I must be given the right to choose - and to inform my health care providers or blood bank too. |

I'm bi and openly admit it on my profile. If that puts some people off then I see it as their loss. I'm not going to hide or pretend to be somebody I'm not just to get a meet. |

"People say all sortsa shite on their profiles. Take it with a bucket of salt"
Yep, very little on mine is true so I don't really care if others are being a bit flexible with the truth on theirs. |

Annoys the hell out of us. If your profile says straight, we're going to presume you are straight and not going to meet you. Saying "I'm bi really" says to us either:
*You're so desperate to shag N that you'll do something you're not into, or
*You lie to other people to get sex
And desperation and dishonesty are both DRAMATICALLY unsexy. |
