Whilst size/shape/age/whatever matters, you could have someone who isn`t your preference who just has that something that clicks with you! It could be their voice, a smile, a mannerism or something so sublime you don`t even spot what it is! |

I don't know why people get offended in these types of threads. If someone has decided to show a preference some other "skinnier" girls get offended. I'm sure these people get their share of admirers and may even have their own preferences that might rule out other types of people. For example. I don't have a BBC, it doesn't bother me that someone would rather enjoy what that brings. I'm happy with myself. If someone doesn't fancy me. I won't lose sleep over it and won't start feeling victimised if someone wants to discuss it on a thread. Seriously girls (and it normally is the girls that cry foul play) you have enough advantages on this site without whinging that you're not someone's type.

Usually it's when the body shaming starts that things get grim.
'real women have curves / real men prefer curvy women / men want meat - dogs chase sticks' ...
Usually it's women who throw these lines around, in our experience.
Our personal meet preference is for athletic to average but that doesn't mean we go body shaming those who are larger or skinnier. We've met size 6 ladies who have had ugly personalities and size 22 ladies who radiate awesomeness. We've also know larger ladies who were lovely until they lost weight and then became horrible people.
Physical attraction is physical attraction but there needs to be something going on under the skin to keep our attention. |

From what I've seen there are very few ladies on fab who could be classed as 'skinny'! Skinny to me means no body fat and bones sticking out! Very few are like that - and those who are may have a medical reason for being so!
My mum has a condition and can't put weight on - so she's what you'd class as skinny!! |

I prefer people who are happy the size they are, not the ones who declare they are and then rip into anyone who is interested in someone different, or do nothing about the size that causes them angst. Yes it's hard but I can't think of anyone worth the effort more than yourself.

If it's a case of what attracts you physically, fat doesn't, neither would skinny for us. In men or women. Prefer slim to slightly curved. Personality is important in a partner, less so in a swing play, unless they are really unpleasant.
But if the sexual attraction isn't there, no amount of personality will make up for it. |
