being regular readers of the forums on here, we find it incredibly surprising how many people are so judgmental.
Having an opinion on something is perfectly acceptable.
Differing opinions are great and it embraces the diversity of people.
Liking something or disliking something not a problem.
But for those that judge others on their likes, dislikes, opinions, activities, etc, surely within the swinging scene, which in itself is judged by the majority of society, that has to be wrong.
As long as a person is not hurting, or forcing others against their will to engage in something, why be judgmental about it? If your swinging your engaging in something that isn't considered part of the "norm", and by that standard surely it should be live and let live within this scene?
What's your thoughts? |

"Too many try to impose their _iews on others in here..usually by being derogatory or sarcastic ....it's not clever in my opinion or open minded "
Some say sarcasm is the lowest form of wit
And am full of it

Swingers are regular people, not some different enlightened breed.
Some people are judgemental. Some of those people are swingers.
A more relaxed attitude to NSA sex doesn't automatically mean someone will be open-minded about everything.
Some people on this site are the most unliberated, closed-minded people I've ever encountered. And coming from Norfolk, that's saying something! |

Agree 100%. But look at these forums you'll find so much intolerance of different _iews, it's hard to believe. |

We all judge positively and negatively, it's human nature and unavoidable.
I find people only have a problem when they or their opinions are being judged negatively. No one ever accuses people they agree with of being judgemental. |

Can we ban the "bareback" threads as that's one that brings out the worst in people and the same arguments are trotted out on both sides each time.
Apart from the entrenched attitudes on both sides, it's very boring!!! |

Yes there's nothing like reading a comment you either agree or disagree with and then scroll down to find someone attempting to belittle it via sarcasm or a thinly veiled personal comment.
And then watch zombie sheep pile on top.
Just be nice, eh. |

With this forum (fab) whenever you cast a thought, opinion, idea, post a picture what ever that maybe you will have people who will judge comment or criticise or debate. The way I see it there will always be haters some will like what you have to say some won't don't worry about those that don't. As long as your happy and it's not hurting anyone that's the key. |

You get judgemental people in there'll world and you get judgemental people on Planet Fab. Some are having a grumpy day and nothing will let the sunshine in, some are antagonistic keyboard warriors who deliberately goad people into a reaction, some have a particular touchy subject area guaranteed to ruffle their normally serene feathers, some are just moronic cock wombles. Sadly, this is just the way of the world. |

I find this interesting because I dont come across too many of the so called judgemental people in the real world. I live and work in an environment of live and let live, where racism, sexism etc is dealt with swiftly and everyone is celebrated. Coming here is a shock at times .... |

There will always be people who put themselves on a pedestal using others as a staircase to a moral high ground . |

This is always my point when people try to take the moral high ground on different subject matters. What we all are doing is at the very least unconventional and to some people immoral so surely by being into swinging we should be all be a bit more open minded about life? |

The forums can be very judgemental, especially on certain subjects. All it proves is that swingers are represented by all walks of life. Yes, for what would be frowned on by most 'in the real world' you would think that swingers would be more open to a lot of subjects, but then swingers are 'real people' too!
We all judge for one reason or another, whether its age limits, gender, physique etc. But then fab members are diverse, even if they may be a small part of a much bigger diverse society. |

I think it's amusing when I hear people describe others as judgemental, what is that but a judgement?
We all make judgements on others, all the time, to some extent it's a necessary survival tool. Whether or not we express them is a different matter.... |

I must admit that I have a couple of of subjects that I can get quite steamed up about, and with hindsight I often think I've gone too far.
I never deliberately set out to upset anyone, but I know I do at times. Maybe I'm a cock womble. |
