What makes a swinger?

and I dont mean the dictionary meaning of promiscuous. I mean what is an actual swinger? We think couples... wife swapping, orgie... but these days it seems to even go to a guy who isn't getting sex at home just wanting someone to fuck so going into the swinging game is a good choice as its NSA and saves on paying for it... but thats not real swinging... is it? Do some people think its just free sex rather than a real sexual fantasy/experience? Let the floodgates open... |

I think it's whatever the people involved want it to be as long as its respectful and consensual.
The thing that shocked me the most when we first started out and continues to sadden me a little to this day is the amount of people who want me to behave exactly how they do and imply that because I don't I'm not a real swinger. |

I think people that consider they're part of the "lifestyle" are 'true swingers'. By that I mean that even though I'm married and we've attended orgies, clubs and 'wife swapped' etc. I wouldn't really consider us as 'swingers' as we only dip in and out.
That said if we were a little pissed and a fit couple asked us if we were swingers the answer would be 'fuck, yes'  |

Swinging to us is partaking in meetings with couples or single fems or guys for the sole purpose of well putting it blunty oral, DP, DV, full sex and everything in between. It's a way of fulfilling fantasies with like minded people and to enjoy other people in a safe environment!

We're newbies so I couldn't really say and as we're soft swap only many will say we're not even proper swingers but I do think if you can respect others,see it as a way to explore boundaries within a loving relationship,fulfill fantasies then you have the making of being a swinger |

I think you cannot put swinging into a box and say only this or that person is a swinger because they do this or like that. It is what ever you want it to be. We just concentrate on where we want to go with this and don't worry about labelling ourselves or others. |

We men who are married and doing it behind there wife's back are definitely not swingers this is adultery end of . If he's in an unhappy marriage he has the choice to get out of it and live this life style. Genuine couples in long term happy marriages make the best swingers closely followed by divorced middle aged men who are not looking for a relationship and make the effort to go to socials , party's and clubs and mix in the circle and socialise as well as look for sex . The rest are just chancers and often time wasters |

We embrace the swinging lifestyle , and all those in it - male , female , couples , straight , bi , gay , tv , ts , tg .
Whether they engage in the lifestyle full time , part time , or just dabble in it now and then , as long as they understand the basic principles we are happy to see them as fellow swingers .
The basic principles as we see it are .
Swinging is an opportunity to engage in sexual activity with like minded people in a completely no strings attached manner .
No jealousy , no entitlement , no hassle .
The freedom to discuss desires with fellow swingers without fear of judgement .
If all parties are in agreement to act upon mutual desires ( providing they are legal ) without fear of recourse in any shape or form .
To be who you are , and to enjoy the lifestyle however you see fit , without being judged by anyone else in the lifestyle .
In order for everyone to be able to enjoy the swinging lifestyle , singles are a very important part of the scene . So many fantasies can't be fulfilled without them . Those couples who prefer to just meet couples are quite entitled to their choice , but shouldn't judge others who like to meet singles too .

And I've seen a lot of single women say they are only here to meet other single men for nsa sex, or even to meet someone. That's not really swinging either. (Note I said a lot, not all) !! |

One of those fun ones that everyone has an opinion as it is to a degree a personal interpretation of an extreamely varied lifestyle.
For us swinging is when people meet a varied number of individuals for some aspect of sexual contact/ behaviour that is consensual and not deceiving to any related party.
