After reading a load of threads the other day,i looked at the profile of the poster and thought ok thats the reason why.

My question is do other people read posts from people say the repetitive posts, and think,ok,that explains why.

Maybe you look at a profile and its a.look at my profile post. About nothing really but after you see another post you look at the profile and you realise.its the same thing really....pretty much just other rubbish.

Now i know some people remember the other posts the.same.person has done which i never do as am always the last one to know.

Are you interested in the boring posts or do you prefer the ones.with an actual subject to discuss and not just laughing at/with the poster.

Or do you love the mindless.dribble

And why the heck does my mobile enter fullstops when i dont want them too lol.

Dribble posts or serious posts or bit of both depending.on the mood.

Do you look at the posters profile and think get a life or grow up or its life. Deal with it.

Another dribble post with a question somewhere in the middle.

I do not respond to certain postsers' threads/posts as I either don't like them as people or don't like the subject matter.

No skin off my nose, and I am sure the same is true if the table is turned.

There are a very small number of posters on here who i find repulsive (from their posts, never met them) and who i would never wish to meet. Most of the time i will ignore their posts, very occasionally i will post in answer to something they have said in the forums.

I've no doubt they dislike me too, doesn't bother me in the slightest as you are defined by the people who dislike you just as much as by those who love you, therefore i find myself validated by their dislike!

Its a downward spiral if you respond to the poster based on how you feel they come across to you personally and not the subject of the post. My pleasure on the forums is the diversity of opinion and there is no way I could determine someone's character or worth from either their post or their profile. I judge most from their emails to me and decide whether I want to know them or not. Birds of a feather tend to flock together anyway so will always have the opinions of the like minded to support their postings. So for me its just a forum like any of the other forum I have commented on while using the internet.

Of course you see some outlandish comments but you have to be pretty sure you haven't made any yourself before you start to pull the poster down on the strength of what they have to say. I am quite endeared to some of the more off the wall posts anyway. I like posts that alter my mindset. I like posts that make me laugh out loud. I have never felt the need to avoid anyone because of what they have to say.Only because of my experience of how they behave off the forum if I have personally experienced a negative vibe from them. You can't unread anything once you have gone down the thread of posts anyway....

I groan whenever I see a thread started by a certain user as I know it would be a moaning/whinging/complaining thread of some sort, and the little devil in me just cannot resist from posting something jolly, positive and optimistic to counteract the negativity!

mindless dribble......

I is very guilty of the above but hey, I am a harmless eejit.

I like the diversity of the forum posters and their threads, from the ridiculous ones to the highly intellectual debate on current affairs.

If I like a thread, I will post.

If I don't, I wont.

Fuck, kiss or bitch slap the above posters especially.

Sometimes, I go days without posting as I sense the vibe and if moaney, I am out of here for an hour/day or two..

If people come on spoiling for a squabble, I have learnt ( took a while ) to ignore em.

Behavioural traits shine thro like the sun on a clear day in the middle of the Sahara. The good and the bad.

that's what makes it fun..

There are certainly some posts and it makes me think deffinately.dont ever meet this person by the way they are posting or what they are saying.

Sometimes you then read the profile and think that answers it. Rather young and immature or desperate for a shag or look at me. Some are just people bored or.in need of a grump.

well I went offline to finsih cooking the roast dinner and one thread was stopped by a mod and the other one disappeared so can't even defend myself lol

I do love those threads that cast your mind back such as the one-hit wonders and old tv programmes and films. Some threads are way over my head so never post for fear of looking stupid but read and sometimes learn a few things. The forums are an education! lol

I know exactly what you mean. Repetitive dibble… attention seeking… pointless crap… boring.... and yes when you look at the profile of the OP, the penny often drops and you can see why they haven’t started a decent thread about something people can actually discuss seriously or even light heartedly.

Can I just double check something before I go on....we are talking about the "would you do the person above" threads here aren't we?

I dont really dislike someone on the strength of a forum post. If I agree with what a person has said on a forum I will say so, and Ill also comment if I disagree. Either way that person has made an impression on me.

We all have changes in mood and we dont know what is going on in someones life or how they are feeling at that particular time, which can have an effect on how they post.

I would rather meet someone and then can form my own opinion on whether I like them or not. Body language has a lot to answer for

Oh and my preference on posts will be the informative discussion based ones. I dont mind a bit of light relief. Not keen on the would you fuck...whatever type ones, and im not keen on the cryptic type ones or the threads that only a few people will understand, but thats just my choice and everyone is different.

I dont really mind the look at me type of threads, for some swinging and the forum is a way of getting noticed, can be an extension of their exhibitionism and I dont find it particularly offensive.

I rarely post on political or religious threads, that takes brain power and I tend to write on other forums for that, I enjoy talking about sex and swinging on this forum

Think you hit the nail on the head there. We all have 'off' days which may affect us in different ways. Ok so what goes on in our private lives shouldn't carry over onto Fab and forums but hell, sometimes it does.

Polo.no particular thread. Sometimes the kiss them slap them. Or fuck your ass. Or am bored today but in general just people.starting a thread just about nothing just to get people mentioning their name and looking at their profile.

Flicks glad someone else looks at the profileand thinks here they go again.

Love threads that have an actual.discussion.

Not much like this one.

I know from personal experience that i dont post just to get people to look at my profile.

Some you get that inpression that if i post a thread saying hello hopefully some sexy people will reply and perv my profile.

I NEVER post for attention! And if that's the case then we are all guilty. If I want to say something on a thread then I will....I have no idea who looks at my profile nor do I care.

I am quite a chatty person so sometimes can't resist to post....either that or I will disappear into the chatrooms for a while. All I know, is that I enjoy every aspect of Fab and when it stops being fun for me I'll know it's time for me to leave. Today was almost that day!!!

Your not alone. Lots.of people dont understand me lol.

My original post was asking when you see posts like who wants to let me fuck their sassy ass tonight, then if tou then read their profile does it seem to make sence why they post like that.

For example the young single male praying people will read his profile and messages back any person who _iews their profile saying do ya like me. I look at the other posts and think. Yep. That is a look at me poster.

Read some and smile but also ignore others. The mindless dribble? Well its not that its small talk and you need variety as highbrow would bore the bollocks off you after a week or so. Variety is the spice of life isn’t it and even more so in the swinging community or we would all stick to the same cock or pussy to fuck.

If I don’t like a fluff thread I may still smile at some of the comments but won’t get involved. I do get pretty pissed at some who just take delight in posting on threads looking for a bit of bite back. Don’t get me wrong though I am all for serious debate but I have that all day at work and come on here to primarily be entertained otherwise I would be looking for a Times or Guardian forum.
