Let me just say I love tits. It's what drives me wild about a woman. Mr Telford loves a good pair of tits as well.
But it's not the sexiest part about somebody messaging us. The sexiest part is people who can manage to string a sentence together, in basic English, and have it make sense.
This is a swinging site, we are under no illusion is it anything more than a site designed for a) people to have sex and b) people to talk to others who like to have sex. Sometimes with each other. It's not an English master class, it's not an exam.
But wow... Every day we sift through dozens of messages, and every day we just sigh...
"Hy bbe wna fuk?"
"I jiz on tit u hav?"
"Whre"
These are actual messages btw...
I mean, call me crazy, but I just don't feel like throwing myself at people who can't even be bothered to write a decent message, surely we can't be the only people who experience this? I'm not talking about the odd typo. We all know how great predictive text is. I've wanted to duck many people over the years...
Then you have the other type of people. The big heads. The ones that just expect shit to go down, and get defensive when you don't meet right away, or question them in some way. "Face pic? But we want to meet you, why do you need a face pic, you must be fake!"
I love to be sexually stimulated. But I love to be mentally stimulated. It's a connection for me. I sense that if somebody can't hold a conversation with me, then clearly I won't be able to hold a sexual night with them either.
Tell me I'm not alone guys and gals... Tell me it's not just me who gets idiots messaging! Tell me that there are honest genuine people out there who enjoy a nice chat, back story, what you're looking for, how are you and THEN maybe fancy a meet...?
Or am I just going crackers!

I have to agree. Literacy and imagination combined with the capacity to make it legible are potentially as attractive.
However tits do sway the argument a bit. |

I have spent this morning coaching complete strangers in the art of, among other things: reading profiles prior to messaging, stringing a coherent non-text speak message together, how to address women respectfully, having something that vaguely resembles meaningful content in profiles, photo variety and that no really really does mean no.
Hopefully one or two will heed the advice and not message irrelevant crud to people quite as readily as they did this morning!

I actually cannot stand people who can't string a proper sentence together. It's puts me off... If I spend more than 30 seconds trying to decipher a message I will just delete...
Ones that also just say
'Fck now?' 'Meet' 'tonight'
We all get them... It's easier to delete...
Like yourself I find I need to have a conversation with someone and have a mental connection there as well as a physical one. |

Sometimes I message back and just tell them about my day, that I stumped my toe and that I was thinking about messaging my mother in law and talking about her garden. Just to make them see what a bloody daft question it is! YES BOYS, I'M FINE, THANKS. C x |

Eloquently written profiles are lovely, we always add to our 'hotlist' and send a shy wink at least 
While not everyone is able to type long and luxurious messages (especially on a phone!) we have certainly find that people who can communicate well via writing are likely to be on a similar wavelength to us when we meet, and that can make for the most fun times (all too frequently not ended up doing any swinging but having a fantastic night all the same... and then arranging another meet to get any playing done!)

Have to agree, someone whose profile or message indicates intelligence and common sense is a very attractive feature. If that is complimented by what I think is an an attractive face and an attractive body - then it becomes very appealing indeed |

Is it really a dying art on Fab? I imagine it's more the case that it's the same as it ever was...those who can write eloquently and flirtatiously will continue to do so, and those who can't, won't.
The quality of both good and bad writing on the forum seems to be fairly static, that must serve as some indication of the overall standard here. |

I've got to say that there appears to be a misconception that looks alone will determine a meet. For me to want to meet someone I have to be interested and to do that I have to find their profile interesting. I'll then send a message based upon what I've read about them and in around half the cases I'll receive a reply. The reply may be that they're not interested or looking but they appreciate that someone has taken the time.
I'm looking to spend quality time with people, not get my end away. Women and couples in the vast majority of cases want that too. How someone can think that one line of text speak and pic of their wares taken at a flattering angle is a deal sealer is beyond me.
