Do names turn you on and off?

I know this sounds silly, however if you didn't get to learn about somebody mentally and discovered there name wasn't 'common' would it turn you off? Or are there some names that turn you on?

The name Donald Trump turns me off if that's any help but I don't properly understand your question.

Absolutely.

Now if I was female it would be even worse though.

I mean who wants, for example, someone who's name suggests they are aiming to actually damage you?

So could you be turned off by a male or females name?

Do you mean real names or usernames? Usernames can be an instant turnoff, yes, or witty or clever ones could be an attraction.

buit no, if I like someone I'm not going to be bothered if he turns out to be called Aloysius or Sebastian.

Oh is it user names on here? Yes I can be put off but I can't say I've ever seen one that turns me on "aging billionaire with heart condition looking for heiress" possibly

A user name on here yes, a given name, unlikely.

In response to you both usernames or real life names. If the attraction was only sexual could a name throw you off them? As if you were 'screaming' a name you didn't personally like

Someone called bed breaker or pussystretcher would only induce me to block them

For the purposes of fab, yes. A name can be a turn off.

Loads of usernames put me off, real names don't because I haven't come across anybody called Mr Anal Destroyer Smith in real life

Although Mr N did receive a very kind email today offering to get naked for him because she knew he was an anal pounder. That put a spring in his step on the way down to the coffee shop I can tell you, all he needed to do was send her money for her plane ticket too.

There are certain names I wouldn't choose to give my children but as Shakespeare said "that which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet"

Yeah, for girls I like the names Millie, Lottie and Scarlet but they don't "turn me on", they're just what Id consider calling my kids.

I have a thing for italian/Latina, but against its not really the names that turn me on.

I just associate those names with people who play darts at their local social club and eat alphabetti spaghetti on toast for dinner. Don't know why.

Nah, Gavin was a quantity surveyor and Darren was a music producer, both intelligent educated guys. Their parents' choice of names wasn't there fault. However, if Wayne Rooney was the only Wayne on the planet, I wouldn't be going for the hat-trick

I'm terrible at remembering names. Mr D tells me off. Once called the male half of a couple, who'd we had become good friends with, the wrong name for ages!

It doesn't matter what your name is, I will forget it anyway

Well looking at your age I'm not surprised because they're names from a totally different generation.
