I always thought Birmingham was a hole 
Only joking - couldn't resist a cheap joke. I honestly like Birmingham - Moseley, canals, Symphony Hall, jewellery quarter, much changed city centre etc etc etc.

It's a damm good City, one of the best in the world as it is so compact that everything is easy to get to.
UNLESS
You need to drive a car through the bugger, which I need to do to just get home at night, and the standard of driving, well, don't get me started, apart from working with computers I drive cars for a living so I know how to drive and can see so many near misses |

It is a shit hole.
It's the shitty city that's never finished, they're always building something or other everywhere you go. Not just small construction, hoofing great concrete blots on the sky line. It's ugly. |

I've been to Brighton a few times, bloody hell was I knackered as I was trying to find a Symphony Hall where the outer walls have moveable baffles that fine tune an already wonderful orchestra.
Then, I really missed a trick when I tried to find the public library that has the complete original works of Shakespeare, what a shit Town is Brighton, however, I came back to Birmingham and they were on my doorstep.
I also went and had a look at a galaxy far far away. It's a dump and full of tramps. |
