Well I'm going to buck the trend, I find some serving soldiers very hot, and the uniform very sexy - doesn't mean I'll shag anyone of them though.
I don't see how it's any different to men having a thing for nurses or police women. |

I've not really experienced that, but I have spent a lot of time with military - in a non sexual context (unfortunately) but they've always been quite gentlemanly

Ex-RN (senior service - sorry, had to be said). Generally I do get on with service types as we are a particularly 'special' breed. It's not the uniform though. However, the entertaining array of dress uniform frippery from some of my green colleagues was always chuckle worthy, Guards Officers were particularly amusing.

Being where you are though you'll see uniform every other day. I think people's opinions on uniform may change depending where they are.
It's been weird for me moving from Plymouth to Rosyth. I've gone from a city with an army regiment, 2 Royal Marines units and the largest navy dockyard in Western Europe to a town that hasn't had a large amount of military (mainly RNR) in over 20 years, now they're building the aircraft carriers there and there's over 600 full time navy there and the numbers of lads (and lasses) coming back with successful trapping stories is unbelievable and this isn't when we're out on the pull either! Down south we never got a look in, always seemed the locals (no offence meant here) were used to Solders, sailors and Marines so we're nothing new to them (though the marines still got drooled all over and the women seemed to leave a snail trail wherever they went) and the students were either warned off from us or just plain hated the military and everything we stood for. Up north I've heard of lads being practically man handled by women fighting over sailors!  |
