If you've been chatting to someone for a while, got on well. Loads of messages going to and fro. Lots n lots of flirting. You get to the point where you want to meet. So you both agree you'd like to meet, even say how you can't wait to!
Then all goes quiet on the western front!! Turns out they're a timewaster. Do you report them or just put it down to experience? |

These things happen. People get cold feet or simply change their mind all the time. To me that isn't a time waster.
Personally we wouldn't even bother reporting someone for not turning up at agreed meet. What are admin/site going to do!

See I think that the more you talk the less likely you will actually meet them.

What constitutes time wasting varies from person to person.
Speaking to someone about potential meeting, potential arranging and then it all falling through is part of the course. It could be a piss taker or it could be someone who's got nervous or simply decided they dont want to meet. How they tell you of the latter varies, if they tell you at all other than going silent.
There's certainly plenty of piss takers & gamers about. It can be anything from someone faking it to grab priv pics from others to actual arranging to meet then no showing etc etc.
It's a sad reality & risk of the online scene. Quite a few cpls I've known over the years have given up with the online scene and gone back to clubs. The face to face aspect of clubs is too risky for piss takers, gamers and their heroics. |
