it's the codewords that work......
put "I read your profile word for word' in your message and I will then probably delete it without reading it as I am only here for the forums but forgot to update my profile |

I'm actually amazed at the number of people who DO read my profile to be honest!
I only really expect people to look at the pretty pictures - and they rarely disappoint on that score! |

 Thank you for the qualification some do make he effort.
It would also be nice if people completed their profiles and filters to enable people to contact those who may be interested in them. |

Most of us are intelligent enough to realise that some guys who don't read, don't give others a bad name |

Well I dont know if anyone actually reads my profile or not or just looks at the profile
Well I know people that know me look at photos (fabbed them)
I do try to read a profile before I message but if the photos are very good then a normal compliment first message gets sent |

Got annoyed with this once and changed my profile heading to "READ BEFORE MESSAGING", the first line in my profile text to say the same, and mentioned in one or two places in it that I'm not looking for X, Y and Z (was something like no "straight" guys, no "how r u" messages etc).
Made no difference.

Then you get the guys that don't read profiles and send rubbish 'how r u?' 'what you looking for?' messages on here moaning that they can't get any replies or meets! Lol.

Just ignore people who message and clearly haven't read your profile, its really that simple. No point stressing about it, many people don't read them and that will probably never change. |

Wonder how many women and couples actively read profiles and seek out men? If they were to read as many profiles as us guys (f it's as few as I suspect), you might forgive us for the crappy messages |

Seriously though the OP is not alone in getting wound up about people who don't read your profile - I get messages every day from men off here asking "can I come over to your place now" grrrrrrrrrrrr and its much the same on the sister site Fabguys - they just let there testosterone do the typing not their brains lol |

I tried this, but I prefer having a detailed profile so when I get asked "what are you into?" I just tell them to have a read |
