Trying to find a fab name on search/browse page

Is it me or getting harder to find people you meet at a club. you remember there fab name and still can't find them.
I tried a few different twists to the name etc. Anyone got any Idea's on doing a search via the browse page.

(if you're looking for the username search it has moved here)
Did you see that very small text just under the town drop down? I have no idea why it is so small, because I haven't found any other way to get to it!

left of the page, bottom of the blue menu there's a link you click on. xxx |

Very true or bit like when you get a phone number in a club..
You call it - number not reconised..
Of course you were just so d*unk you wrote it down wrong 
Username and the people's name can be a problem too...
Hence the username  |
