What's a username to you?

After a long break we're just in the process of re-doing out profile (so it's completely blank at the moment - no point peeping you pervs!).
We're thinking of changing our username as I got fed up of explaining we're not Italianish (it was named after a COCKtail).
So fabbers - how important is a username to you? Should it reflect the personalities/wants/desires of the fabbees or does any old shite suffice?

Extremely crude profile names can sometimes be off putting to us, but other than that we don't read too much into them. Although if there's one that makes us laugh or contains some sort of geeky/pop cultural reference that spikes our interest.
Our profile was inspired by a documentary on the Manhattan Project. It just sort of stuck in our heads. |

"Mine is a play on my profession
But do you *still* get people asking what you do for a living? "
Yes. Yes I do. but then they say they thought it might be role play. |

That's brill
Well - the better half of us wants to change it to "RickAndRachel" (or similar) but I wanted something a bit geeky/witty too.
More thunks needed from me I think. |

We had a previous profile on fab by the name of 'welovecrabbies' due to us liking Crabbies, the alcoholic ginger beer. Had a small number of people message us asking why we would say we like pubic lice in our profile name, or similar.

An insight into the person quite often.
Crude will get you nowhere here though.
Just because this is a sex site doesn't mean it should look like a gynaecologist convention. |

Mine was after a costume I wore and the time of year, that I had my first encounter with another woman(after I got divorced). It was a celebration to myself after being faithful for 20 years! |

I would say it is very important..
For instance I would not even look at a name that was called 'pussystabber' or anything as crude...
I believe a profile name should reflect the people or person it represents |

You Dont Need to Know, right now |
I'm with the majority on this. User-names fall into 3 categories:-
1) Too crude = wouldn't even read a message
2) Bland = not offensive, hopefully descriptive (and I don't include cock-size descriptions in this category!)
3) Awesomely funny!
I'm a 2, I would aspire to be a 3, but I'm not that clever. |

a. A username that people can easily spell so that they can look me up on Fabs. I only meet in clubs but may like to keep contact, it's easier saying your profile name than giving your number.
b. A username that reveals location and gender. And had I been any younger I would prob have added my approximate age too! |

Mine is named after a racehorse. I didn't think too much of a good username but most of my passwords etc are named after racing names. They're easy for me to remember! |

They are just a name, the profile and more important the pics are what I look at.
Maybe because I am a visual person and need to be pleased by what I see first. |
